IN -Man who crawls from ditch days after fatal crash answers lingering quest

  • #21
Oh my Lord, Sophie....so many red flags shot up as I read that article......thank you for posting it! I don't believe a word of his story. I was going to copy & paste all the items that caught my attention but it would take me all night. Here is the one that stuck out at the end:

"After all of this is done," he said, "I'm not going to look for anybody else until I get my life straightened out"

Why would he even consider thinking about finding someone else ((another gf)) if he loved Nikki so much and she just died?

I would love to know this guy's background - I truly believe there's much, much more to this story. He's totally full of cr@p IMO
There is so much wrong here.

Did they give him any kind of tox test ?

Has NHR had an autopsy ?

Why didn't he use her phone if his died ?

This accident just bothers me. I'm thinking the reason he wasn't on her fb is that some people keep things a secret . That's their choice.
Not trying to blame NHR at this point at all. I didn't care for the way everything was HER fault-- i.e., he'd asked her to drive and she apparently didn't hear him and climbed into the passenger seat ; she was showing him pics on her phone when the crash happened. Etc.

Still wondering if she'd changed her insurance lately and made KB the beneficiary ? I know that's really reaching.....

did she really die from car wreck?

His story is so full of lies it is nauseating! Did it take him three days to make up this story?

The first thing that jumped out for me is how did he escape any injuries from the airbags going off? Or did they go off? Why was he not a bit disoriented, shocked, or trying to find his or her phone if he was still conscious and knew she was dead?

Who would want to stay in a vehicle with a dead person for three days?

The final kicker was him carrying two 14 pound bowling balls up the hill with a broken shin. Yup, really? Doesn't one need arms and hands to climb?

It will be interesting when the real story is told.

That was my first thought......is he a beneficiary to her life insurance. Something is going on here......way too flakey all the way around. And the dopey story about how he HAD to drive..... She had removed her seat belt to show him more photos when he had warned her how dangerous it was.....I call BS.

All of that could be explained by a head injury. Do we know if he had a concussion of any kind?

It would be interesting to know the results of his medical exam.

The part about KB being "..dazed and shook up... I was disoriented...." came from KB himself -- so far I haven't read anywhere else on msm about any sort of head injury.

After three days, though... is there any trace left of intoxicants, drugs, etc. even left ?
Also --how bad was the break in his leg-- like debilitating (as in --barely able to walk and reduced to crawling, in which case it makes no sense to be dragging two bowling balls with you !), or only a bad sprain ?

Apparently not his first go around in court:

• Theft/bad checks. 11:28 a.m. July 5. District Court 17-3-03, Penn Township, Snyder County. A bad check for $150 in traffic fees was issued by Kevin Eugene Bell, 38, of dover, from a closed account. Bell is charged with theft by deception and bad checks.

https://www.addict-help.com/how-long-does-alcohol-stay-in-your-urine-system.asp

The EtG Urine Alcohol Test detects ethyl glucuronide in the urine, which confirms alcohol ingestion as long as 3-4 days after intake, or about 80 hours after the liver metabolizes alcohol. The EtG test has become known as the “80 hour test” for detecting any amount of consumed ethyl alcohol. EtG has emerged as the test of choice for alcohol and due to the advances in technologies is now routinely available. Its presence in urine may be used to detect recent alcohol consumption, even after ethanol is no longer measurable using the older methods. The presence of EtG in urine is a definitive indicator that alcohol was ingested.

Btw there are no pics of Kevin Bell on Nikki's FB, nor is there any mention of him at all.

Since she is supposed to be getting divorced, she might have not wanted to advertise having a boyfriend.

Agree. I started coughing like Hillary Clinton when I read his B.S play by play of what happened.

Btw. Lets not forget how he survived on the doggie bag from the restaurant and the Gatorade.

I truly think that KB was trying to milk Ms Reed for all the side change that he could get.

Because no man would have his woman always travel that far to pick them up or to visit them on a weekly basis.

Especially since her childs birthday party was the next day.
Jmo.

Btw. He probably could have opened the trunk door of the suv at anytime since nothing wasn't blocking it.

But this PhugWad acts like he was stranded at sea for 3 days.

Plus once he grabbed the bowling balls and sent a text without telling anyone anything until he got to the hospital 3 days later; Tells us that this guy is hiding something. Jmo.

And/or maybe he has a girlfriend...

I have a terrible theory. Maybe she didn't die right away, but lingered and he waited there 3 days until she finally died. Even if he didn't purposely kill her, but was thinking he would go to jail for driving on a suspended license, especially with that hit and run in his past. Maybe he would have just waited around until she died to make sure he could get away clean, without worrying someone would find her and revive her -- and find out he'd been driving (or worse truths). If his only possessions in the SUV were in his bag containing his bowling balls, I assume he took that all with him because he couldn't leave any evidence he'd been there. He didn't tell the first guy he came across nor police about the crash or his girlfriend until he was cornered and had to. Worrisome.

They can tell from the autopsy if she died right away or not.
From what is being reported, she died on impact.
I think he might have been acting the way he did because he isn't supposed to have been driving because his license was suspended. He is facing a number of charges. Still pretty bizarre, I wonder why he didn't try to claim she was the one driving.

"Also according to the affidavit, Bell said he was driving the vehicle after Reed “got tired,” despite having a suspended license."

Whether he does or doesn't, it doesn't really have anything to do with what was on her facebook.

And she might have certain things set to friends only. We don't always see everything.

If my spouse ever goes missing I will look guilty and if my brother ever goes missing I will be immediately sent to Websleuths jail.

Same. All my personal, family things are set to friends only, and even THAT list is restricted.
