There have been no statements from her family or LE stating that she fell. As of now, no one knows how she ended up in the river. But yes, the ME would be able to tell if such an event occurred.
Only if decomp. is not too significant.

Right. I want to believe that if her cause of death was something with practical implications, they would have announced it. (??) Like if there’s a murderer or a mountain lion, the public needs to know. But if she died by suicide or had a heart attack, maybe the public does not need to know.
