A 2020 Audi R8 has an MSRP of $168,000 and its unique look might’ve drawn unwanted attention from covetous folks... Hope there are cameras that picked up the car being parked where it was later found.

Police investigating suspicious death in Irondequoit

A very short article. The police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred on the 400 block of Helendale Rd (Google Maps). On Friday a helicopter was overflying the area, searching for a missing man. On Saturday Brighton PD were also at the scene.

No word if the death is related to the missing person, though it seems likely to me.

ETA: In the article below the nature of the incident isn't specified, but the focus is on a residence. Irondequoit, Brighton and State Police were all present on Saturday.

IF the body found in the residence is his, and if the car was found in the same area, then it's possible that he was the one who parked it there. I wonder if his phone pings left the police to the area. I hope there's home surveillance footage available. It is strange that we haven't heard of any arrests yet. Perhaps his death couldn't be tied to the occupants or the residence.

Irondequoit Police investigating suspicious death

Irondequoit, N.Y. – Police in Irondequoit say they are investigating a suspicious death.

Investigators were called to the 2500 block of Culver Road around 3:45 a.m. Saturday for the report of someone who was unresponsive.

I think this is a different location. Different age, too.

Police investigating death on Helendale Road in Irondequoit

The article states that on Saturday afternoon police were called to Helendale Road where a person was found deceased. The police were trying to determine the individual's identity and COD. They talked to POIs and witnesses. LE are asking the public to report any info about the incident.

If all this happened yesterday, how come that there's no news today? Surely they could at least confirm the identity? Perhaps the family of the deceased has been notified already.

o_O So Mr Ramos was murdered, and Mr Boucher's car was found but not Mr Boucher?
The identity of the second body found in Irondequoit has not been officially confirmed. Unofficial info can be found. Mr Boucher's connection to the neighborhood is unknown, apart from his car being found there.

The Culver Road event is a separate incident, unconnected to the topic of this thread. It was reported 12 hours before the Helendale Road incident, for which there's no official confirmation of connection yet.

Police investigating 'suspicious death' near Helendale Road in Irondequoit

Police told News10NBC that this incident is not related to the suspicious death of a 73-year-old man on Culver Road that occurred early Saturday morning.
Thank you.

The address 2500 Culver Road (murder of Ramos) in Irondequoit is only 3 minutes to the other location, the short street Helendale Road.

Is this a bad area? Was Mr Boucher perhaps carjacked?

Helendale is a quiet area, what locals would call the "Laurelton" area of Irondequoit, for the Laurelton Fire District.

Perplexes me how he's missing, the circumstances. Lives clear across town in Brighton, car found abandoned in Irondequoit.

Rochester area is chock full of wealthy people. The car is rare, but not one of a kind in the area.
