This is a worrying one, it's all over the news tonight

Police trying to trace a 17-year-old girl missing from her home in Shropshire since Sunday say they feel she "may have come to harm".

Georgia Williams, from Wellington, is believed to be in Glasgow where a 22-year-old man was arrested earlier on suspicion of kidnap. Her disappearance is said to be "out of character".

According to the Daily Mail the suspect is a 22yo man she had previously rejected

A semi-detached house in Avondale Road, Wellington, which neighbours said was lived in by a JR, was today being searched for a second day by forensics officers.

Another neighbour, who also declined to give her name, said police had arrived yesterday morning and broke down the door to get inside.

"They were in the white overalls, and searching inside and also taking photos in the garden," she said

Georgia’s father is a Detective Constable in the local force. He and the rest of the family are said to be devastated.

Georgia's last known Twitter message, posted before she went missing read: "Worst night's sleep in ages. Need sleep. Stuff on mind. Now can't get back to sleep."

This doesn't look good. Hopefully this guy will give LE the answers they need to find Georgia. Such a pretty young lady.

Means she was chosen to represent the school - usually it lasts for a year and there will be a head boy and head girl. They will give speeches at events, represent the students etc - it's a very high honour.

If anyone is good with maps, what worries me is the route the man arrested, JR, took to Glasgow. It's not the logical direct route and there could have been plenty of places to leave Georgia.

There is a basic map in the Daily Mail article.

So sad, she seems like such a lovely young woman. Praying that the police are wrong and she is found alive, although it's not sounding promising. :(

My thoughts are with her friends and family, I really hope she is brought home soon. Hopefully JR will give LE all the information he has about this beautiful young lady.

Superintendent Nav Malik of West Mercia police said: "I make it very clear, folks, that we have not found Georgia Williams … I urge the public to support us in trying to find out where she may be."

He said the arrest on suspicion of murder followed developments in the investigation – which has more than 50 detectives working on it – that could not be shared "for operational reasons and because we have someone in custody".

So very sad! :praying: for a better outcome than it sounds like it will be. :(

I sincerely hope that he gives all information that he has to the authorities. For ONCE I wish that the POI in a case would give up information!
