To me the doorbell images have always looked like NB but I am still confused by PA'S description of him loading up the car when it was clearly NB doing so in those last images.
He did not say that he loaded up the car that morning, and I don't see that the photo's depict what the person in them is actually doing.

So PF clearly stated there was rocks that would help NB escape-
It looks sandy here
IMO that beach is where the MP was going when she fell in. She knew it was there and that she would be able to walk out of the River. The problem is that she did not get there because the river got much deeper than she expected.

Immersion in cold water will do unexpected things to people.

Gosh I did not know about Alice and I live quite nearby …what a shame… I’ll t have to look into this. Thanks for bringing it up.
From what I just read about the case (“she entered the water alone”) it sounds like a suicide.

This is a very different situation and you cannot extrapolate this to NB’s case.

The two key differences are that NB (a) did not enter the water intentionally and (b) would have made an attempt to recover on her own accord. Based on the working assumption of the investigation.

I wasn't comparing this to NB's case, I was using it as an example to a comment made above relating to the tragic outcomes that missing persons cases can lead to when people go missing near water. AB was a vulnerable indiviudal, there are vast differences to NB's case.

Been following since first thread. My mind has gone from accident to foul play back to accident and so forth. Just when I am convinced that NB did have a tragic accident, a snippet of info comes out and it’s just enough to stir my mind again. I can definitely see how the police are being pulled in all different directions! Hope they find something soon, I cannot imagine what her little girls are feeling.

What would make you get up off a bench and leave your phone and dog harness etc behind?
If you thought you would get wet your coat and keys would have stayed behind.
If there was a person in a boat or canoe asking for help to land it this may encourage you to the rivers edge? They ask NB to grab a rope for instance. This would explain leaving certain items behind.

Looking at the swimming video, the small path at the side of the bench looks very well worn. That appears to run parallel to the tow path but would be far more discreet.

We really need the police to share some information and stop the speculation. I appreciate they have NB’s family to protect but are they still worrying about hindering a conviction?

Maybe the only hat within reach that morning, NB gave to PA.

It was cold. I would think she would have worn a hat.

I don’t even think the Police have setup a crime room for this, seems really odd , no description of the clothes she was wearing or a drawing of how she may of appeared of even a direct phone number to ring if you have information?
The police have given a clear and detailed description of what Nicola looks like, what she was wearing etc from the start.

The crime room will be at the police station.

Can anybody who thinks it isn't NB on the Ring video footage explain how the kids didn't notice somebody other than their mum taking them to school that day?
It is obviously her tho! Can tell by forehead, chin, nose, I mean well face in general all proportions the same. Just without the same make up and lighting as the FB selfies.
Would be the stupidest thing to fake/mislead about because so easily proved to be someone else/not Nicola.

Just noticed did anyone see the PA interview, there seems to be a red truck thing outside the window, im not alluding to the shabby red one but it could be the one on previous posts regarding red flat bed truck?

Is there a school in the village they live in? I wonder if they are attending an out of zone school. If the school they attend is their zoned one I would be surprised if they are not served by school transport. We are based in another part of the UK and we operate school transport to all the rural village schools. Primary School children are entitled to free transport here if they live 2 miles or more from school and Secondary School children are entitled who live 3 miles or more from school. Where we are, if children are attending out of zone schools (so not the school they are supposed to attend in their own catchment area) they are not entitled to transport.
There's a primary school, 'St Peter's C of E' in Inskip (shown on Google Maps).

The location of the interview has been found here - does it match the red vans on google maps?

But you wouldn’t freeze while being walked 10 minutes with dog walkers nearby On open ground in broad daylight.
But it doesn’t seem that there were any other dog walkers around if the last person who saw NB was at 9:10 then another person tied the dog up at 9:33 - and then it seems only contacted the school at 10:45 - it seems no one else came across the tied up dog for an hour and 15 mins. We don’t even know if the person who tied the dog up went back. Maybe people walk their dogs early in the day and then there is no one there.

That's why it is weird. He was being asked about what happened that morning, but instead he alluded to what generally tended to happen rather than answer the question in a way which would have confirmed what was shown in the cctv footage. It was the one thing that jarred with me although I also thought it odd that he twice mentioned changing into gym clothes and possibly odd to even change at all given that he was keen to get down to look for NB at the river. JMO. These niggles did not stop me from feeling a lot of sympathy for him and I presumed they were just because he was rightly feeling nervous and distressed.

The story I viewed said the images were 'shared with the BBC by one of her friends' & over a week later.

Think that is incorrect - if you check the dates on the links on the same day

BBC link says it's 5 days old and that other LancsPolice link I posted was also 5 days old ( the one with the ring doorbell photos)

Monday, February 6, 2023

( yes BBC link definitely says friends shared more with BBC too, looks like it could be same day, they submitted extra ones )

tbc - it's really boring checking the tiny details such as dates but there's so much disinformation on the case, it's worth checking, for me

I agree, it was a contradiction on channel 5 and one I noticed- which is weird as why would you say that knowing on the day that’s not what happened?

It's why it struck me. It would be one of those, 'this is the last time I saw her' events, surely. People often refer back to the last time they interacted with someone who has suddenly died, disappeared.
