This is local to me, I live less than 10 minutes from Sarah’s home address in the next town. Nothing new has been reported locally. The location that police are appealing for dashcam/cctv footage from is around 30 minutes away by car.

JMO but I suspect they have found enough blood in her home to warrant this being a murder investigation hence the initial urgency in the first appeal, but no body as yet. Sounds like they managed to track the blue transit van from her house up to the Chesterfield junction of the M1. Where is she?!

Just after 12am on Monday 26 June officers attended a layby off the westbound carriageway of the A617, close to junction 29 of the M1, where a body believed to be Sarah was discovered.

A fundraiser has been set up to cover the funeral cost of a much loved mum – as a murder investigation into her death continues.

Sarah Henshaw, 31, of Ilkeston, was found dead, on Monday, June 26 – after missing for six days.

Shannaide Colebourne, Sarah’s friend, has set up a Go Fund Me Page to help cover funeral costs and support Sarah’s two young daughters.

The page raised over £1,000 in just a couple of hours.

Shannaide said: “Sarah was a lovely woman, friendly and very helpful in the community. She always worked as a carer and was much loved and known by many.

"She was the most amazing mother to her precious little girls. She always did everything for them and made sure they never went without.

“We are absolutely devastated by the news and can’t get it out out none of our heads.

“Setting up a fundraiser is the least we could do to try and help her family and daughters.”

First full day of the trial took place today

Sounds like another controlling, domestic abuse situation - he kept a key to her place even after they split up and it sounds like he was lying in waiting for her after she had been out.

Feel sorry for the neighbour who heard the altercation and texted Sarah to make sure she was okay - I imagine they feel a sense of guilt for not ringing the police.
