It has since been established that JO was helping with the estate sale, and that NO and his younger brother were with her. She left at 10pm, leaving NO to have a sleepover at his grandparents.
The original report of NO being dropped off at the house at 10pm was never officially corrected and...
NO was not dropped off (incorrect reporting) but rather left behind at the end of his visit.
They also mentioned in the Amber Alert that NO was last seen in the area of MacLeod trail.....again, somewhat misleading as it would lead people to believe he was last seen away from the property, not on it.
Indeed.
Had I heard "my brother and I were supposed to get together that morning and I got concerned when he didn't answer his phone", I would never question CL's reaction to AL not answering his phone.
In my experience, people who carry cell phones don't always answer.
I am sure the LE is looking at all angles and sharing only a fraction of what they know with the public.
I, personally, doubt that this crime involves complete strangers.
There is a link somewhere within this large family....IMO.
Two things:
The scene at the house indicated something bad happened there, enough clues for JO to contact the LE right away and for them to respond immediately, why was the Amber Alert not issued until 5:15pm that day? Many valuable hours were lost, no?
The other question I have is about AL's...
Interesting information.
Just to add, there are numerous articles about that case with the correct spelling of the last name...only one S. I also see the above mentioned on the list of FB friends of just about everyone on both sides of the O'B and L families.
Here is the link to the story...
I think the property in question is next to the one you circled.....directly south of it. You can see the round grassy backyard where the helicopter stood, and also see the three sheds at the very south of the property where we've seen the three investigators wearing white outfits poking around.
Here is a link to a Brooks forum where it's being discussed.....note someone mentioning seeing the truck early morning today, etc.

I would assume it would be mentioned many times as a last sighting, what time it was, etc.
So my guess is just poor wording by the author of the above article.
