I'm a little dubious as the pregnancy was only mentioned in a Scottish newspaper? Never mentioned in any papers in AU. I'm really happy for the guilty plea! Knowing SA and their tough privacy laws when it comes to crime, it will be a long time before we hear the whole story. I'm so intrigued!

I really do hope the media gives us SOMETHING tomorrow, we have been waiting so long. I walk past Mag. court in Melbourne everyday and you can tell when there's a big case on, media all over the place very early in the morning, I'd love to see even a little something in the paper tomorrow...

I'm definitely going with high profile pro-bono case.. Legal Aid (who I used to work for) really only take on cases they have a good chance of winning, just the defenant has little funds. I don't think any firm defending a client is evil or sick.. EVERYONE has the right to a fair trial and...

Thanks for the fantastic book suggestion! I'm going to dload it to iPad tonight :) There should be a thread for books to read! I find going to book shops a bit depressing cause I have all the true crime :( MEANWHILE.. I can't wait for a book about the Kapunda murders!! I'm thinking about the...

It could be possible his 1st ever time on meth or something else could trigger psychosis.. But it doesn't really fit 1. He was organized enough to flee the scene 2. Friends from country towns tell me that there isn't really a lot of hard drugs around, mostly just weed. BUT it does explain why...

Actually, there is a psychological testing method for psychpathy that is the most accurate for diagnosing any psychological issues or personality disorders.. Psychopaths are pretty cookie cutter as far as behavior and the way they treat others ect.. I don't believe {mod edit} the alleged...

I know the story well Robb.. fascinating story.. but she worked in an abattoir and everyone that knew her said she was absolutely insane.. there was NO other perp/situation that fit other than her.. almost 0 mystery except "how can someone do that to another person" very very sad case as well...

** definitely just my opinion: If he has entered an alibi there is going to be one hell of a court case.. At a guess they want Nothing! In the media until trial in feb.. Jurors aren't supposed to be aware of the case/google the 'internet facts' although that will be pretty difficult. I would...

Hahaha yeah my fiance is an IT manager.. he humours me sometimes but sometimes he says my book collection alone would get me arrested if I was suspected of a crime.. isn't he funny~ I actually looked into getting married at Old Melbourne Gaol.. the buildings are stunning! But it definitely had...

Hi everyone, I'm new and I am Rachel :) I live in Melbourne and I think I read somewhere that while Adelaide has quite a low murder rate they seem to have a penchant for strange crimes, especially strange murders. I am a law clerk and a Criminology student and some crimes just grip me.. I...
