Casey Anthony is her own alligator... I seriously doubt TPD could get her to talk. MH was far too willing to insert herself into the investigation and she was more than willing to talk to press... MH set her own arrest up, IMO.

it is possible that she was not allowed to play at her house anymore.
In the video it appears to me that she was a little hesitant to go
kind of like she wasn't sure if she should ...

What a good thing that she flapped her lips! Without all her stories about the stolen suitcase, etc, I wonder how long it would have taken the police to nab this killer? She really gave herself away. Thank God.

I just read melissa was taken in to custody at 11:55 PM last night but was not Booked till 2 something.Another Good Friday as laci ame a shore n Good Friday
If this is true about Sandra being found drugged by MH 6 months ago and found unresponsive in the trailer park, then it will eventually come out during the trial, I would think.
I don't understand why there wasn't an arrest or at least an investigation at the time it happened--unless it wasn't reported. But if she were taken to the hospital, the doctors at the hospital would have reported it to the police, wouldn't they? I thought doctors were pretty rigorous about reporting anything that could be child abuse to the authorities.

Hi Columbo, I'm not sure yet, but I think the family had to know that this girl was half crazy. When she drugged Sandra last year, they had to at least suspect she had serious problems. You just dont live with someone, especially a granddaughter, without knowing, or suspecting if they are a pedophile. Could be she has always been molested by another family member. Children who are molested their entire childhood, sometimes grow up to molest other childrem. So sad. This may be a family of molesters.

The family had to have known she was off the wall. Maybe that is why the grandfather seemed so.....elusive? skanky? can't think of the right word.... when the press talked to him. Connie (MH 's grandmother) must be in denial or trying to protect everyone. I suspect that MH was molested as a child, too. Yep.
BINGO! I bet that is it. Sandra would have been 7 yrs old--she just recently (early 2009, i believe) had her 8th birthday. Correct me if I am mistaken.

According to court records, Huckaby had claimed she was not mentally competent to stand trial in the case. The judge ordered her to be examined by physicians. Later, it was determined that she was competent and she pleaded no contest.
In an interview with the local newspaper on Friday, Huckaby said someone else by the same name was charged for the November theft from a Target store.
Huckaby was also convicted by Superior Court in Los Angeles County in November of 2006 for a petty theft in Bellflower, records showed.
Huckaby said her suitcase had an Eddie Bauer logo and was waterproof and charcoal-trimmed. Those details matched a general description of the suitcase that Sandra's body was found inside.
Huckaby claimed it was packed with things to redo her classroom. (Sunday school teacher)
While Huckaby said she has spoken to authorities, she did not know if her missing suitcase was indeed the one that held the girl's body.
Huckaby said she was packing up the car to go do some work at the nearby church on March 27 — but ended up leaving the suitcase next to her car because she forgot to pack it. About 30 minutes later, when she realized she forgot it, she said she left her grandfather's church and went back to the mobile home park to retrieve her suitcase, but by then it was gone.
Huckaby said Sandra often played with her own daughter, and that Sandra had come over that day, but Huckaby said she told the girl to go away because she was too busy.

Bottom line: speculation is police are looking for a sex tape child molesting video ring---searching the church roof top for a receiver etc. all angles are being looked at along with the connection to all the child molesters?? Thank you BB12....It makes sense now if she claims to have been on the property of the dairy farm several times....I've been thinking about this...I know that area EXTREMELY well and the curve of Tracy Blvd where the dairy farm is does not look like a public road. The area is rural and it's not unusual for there to be private roads that lead up to a driveway or gate. I've been at that curve literally hundreds of times and NEVER once thought it was a public road- it's narrow and though it's paved, it's dirty. I have seen large trucks coming in and out several years ago- I thought at the time for some kind of construction. Also of note is the fact that from Tracy Blvd, you can't see even a HINT of water in that area.
So thinking about where Sandra was dumped, that the killer would go down a seeminly private road, right past a little house close to the road seemed unlikely when just 2 minutes up the road was an easy entrance to the water at a little bridge...a little past that is a small road that leads to an area known for flooding.
I guess what I'm getting at is that the killer was either EXTREMELY familiar with that area to know the little road was there and went out to the water where they would be undetected or they were extremely brazen and VERY lucky.
