Anthony's in hiding due to death threats per WFTV

WFTV just reported that the Anthony's left the courtroom quickly, and are headed somewhere secret, due to death threats made against them and their atty ML. (some online)

They showed footage of the Anthony's car with at least 2 patrol cars alongside.

OCSO is apparently taking the threats seriously and are investigating them now.

What on earth is wrong with people?
Nobody has the right to take a life and nobody should have to live in fear no matter how much you don't like them.

I'm just on the first page of this thread, but about a half hour ago, HLN showed an aerial shot of the Anthony house and said that GA and CA had just arrived home. There were three police cars parked in front of their house and a few protestors across the street.

I would assume the police accompanied the Anthonys home to allow them to pack an overnight bag and get their two small dogs before escorting them somewhere else.

I understand that people are disappointed by the verdict, but does anyone really think CAYLEE would want her family persecuted in this way? Anyone remember CAYLEE?

No, she wouldn't. These were the people she loved most. There was never any proof that Casey abused Caylee. NONE. Only the prosecution's theory that she must have chloroformed her before duct taping her mouth.

I tend to think that the jury was made up of people who did not really follow this case, and were not caught up in the emotions and the animosity towards Casey and her family like most people here were. But maybe a lot of people were wrong. Regardless, I respect their decision, they did what they promised they would do, and voted on the facts and the evidence as they saw it.

I am shocked by some of the hatred displayed toward anyone in this case. Both here and elsewhere, along with threats being reported. It may be cliché, but I still believe two wrongs do not make a right.

I understand anger and confusion regarding the verdicts as well as the actions of the entire family. I don't understand the venom. What sets the rest of the world apart from them if this type of behavior is accepted, even silently?

Why not, they helped her out? I'm not surprised by this at all. They would be wise to lay low, and maybe move somewhere else.

This is the look of a woman with serious issues. She lied, she lied some more and she lied some more. I know today she is happy. But eventually her disability is going to come up for review and she won't get a job, she won't have a friend and she won't have a happy life. I do hope she has nightmares about what she knows about what happened to Caylee for the rest of her life.

She has known...... she knew in the first two weeks what her daughter did. She sold her soul. That's OK because these people eventually get their due.

Here's my take....let them live a long, long life unharmed. For all of you that supported LWOP vs. the DP, it is the same concept:

They will never enjoy a night out with their daughter without hearing chants of "baby killer"
They will never be given a break if they so much as go over the speed limit by 1 MPH and are caught
They will never have an argument about the most mundane matters without this rearing its head emotionally
Their extended families will not want them around, they already don't
All of KC's friends will be on par with her as far as integrity and morality
If KC has a child, it will never cease to frighten them when they don't hear the child's voice, or make them think of what happened to Caylee
The stress has taken its physical toll
They'll always look over their shoulders
Zenaida will get the last laugh...as well as the IRS for every penny she ever makes (this last evasion is not the only time she will owe them)
Recidivism is alive and well-Especially considering the murdress is a 6 time convicted felon who already had 911 called on her several times prior to the murder


And on and on. They will always suffer and they will always know what KC did.They cannot cleanse it with money, with fame, with this ridiculous verdict.

Thanks Grandmaj.....I had my precious grandchildren today so did not know about this until I got a phone call earlier today.....I have been unable to type anything since then. Thank you for posting what you did. I am still in shock I think.....it has not registered yet and please everybody give those that are upset a little break....they just have not had time to process this yet maybe......3 years of this crapola and it is just so sad. Where is the justice for precious Caylee? God rest that precious little soul.

Cindy and George, along with their attorney, Mark Lippman, left the courtroom as soon as the verdicts had been announced. If there were threats against them, wouldn't that courtroom be a safe place for them to be with all the deputies there?

Are George and Cindy going off to a secret location due to death threats, or and they going to a secret location where Casey will join them if and when she's released later this week?

I just don't trust the Anthonys, and I find myself wondering if this has been planned in advance in the event of a not guilty verdict. I find myself wondering if George and Cindy are closely involved with the defense and this is all orchestrated?

Something just doesn't sound right. Yes there could be death threats, but I have to wonder if that's the real reason of a reason to cover their actions?

I just want all of you to take notice and spread the word...DO NOT BUY OR SPEND ONE DIME ON ANY BOOK THOSE <modsnip> JURORS WRITE OR ANY MAGAZINE THEY MAY GIVE AN INTERVIEW TO.....hopefully, if all the publishers and magazines are boycotted they will just drop it and KC and the jurors and Baez will not profit from this. But it will only happen if nobody purchases any of their publications.

Don't watch the shows either. They track viewer watching.....this is so insane. For instance if 20/20 or those other big new shows advertise this Friday at 10, blah, blah, blah, just don't turn it on. I know it could be hard, but for me I have no interest in hearing what KC's 12 new BFF have to say regarding their decision of why they came to their decision, so it won't be hard for me!!!

I remember the book (cannot recall the name) being written about J. McDonald who was eventually convicted of murdering his wife and daughters. Initially the author had set out to write it thinking the man was innocent but changed his mind after being around J. McDonald and wrote the book portraying his guilt.
I assume with the not guilty verdict today there is little chance of that happening in this case.

Does anyone not think she was waiting for Casey somewhere in the courthouse (prearranged) after she and George left the courtroom? I have a feeling the reason they just got home a little while ago is because they were at the courthouse all afternoon "getting reacquainted" with their daughter. Caylee will probably not even be mentioned in that family anymore after this week. :sick:

One way or another, in this world or the next, someday she/they will have to face justice.

On this forum I've read more than a few posts that condone "street justice."



Holding on to hatred & resentment is like holding a hot coal in one's hand.
It only hurts yourself. Not the person you are angry with.

We don't live in a black & white world. Justice means many different things to many different people.

The people that expressed wanting Casey "to fry"...well, I guess I just don't understand why that would somehow "fix" things. I'd like to think Caylee has forgiven her mom for whatever happened.
I'm not even religious and I won't cast any stones. May all of you find some peace & acceptance with this very imperfect world we all share.
