Just my :twocents:, but at this point we need to take a breath and analysis why this is happening? I don't think she is there just to question JVDS about Natalee's whereabouts and that she just went off the deep end. I don't think d Vries would be escorting her there with a mind set like that. There's something else going on here and all the proper talking heads for this case were readily available to yak about it on NG. There's a plan in making. JMO

ETA: Yep, just check the media and it was apparently an exclusive to NG. The only media reports are out of the Netherlands (de Vries) and Peru.

The criminal justice system in Aruba, Holland nor Peru have given the Holloways justice. And...they never will.

As a mother, I truly hope Beth's motive for gaining access to this lousy creep that killed her daughter was to show him that she could reach him at any time she chose....and so could a hired killer. Let the *advertiser censored* start worrying whether he'll see another tomorrow.

She, apparently, bribed her way into the prison. She couldn't have gained access any other way.

Way to go Beth. Give him the justice that only a mother could deliver !

Since her original airing was almost two hours ago, it seems to me that if Beth had been arrested and was being detained in Peru this would've hit the US media by now. The only thing I'm still finding are the Dutch articles. :waitasec: MOO

Beth has been arrested BY Peruvian authorities.

My concern now is Peru will cut off all negotiations with Aruba and the
USA, and severe their case from any consideration of the Holloway case,
and all other matters, simply in order to concentrate and perfect their own case against Mr. van Der Sloot. The Peruvian government has no further interest in helping out any othert entities except to perfect and prosecute their own case. Beth met with Stephany's brother prior to going to Castro Castro. I wonder what they discussed! Stephany's family may have alerted authorities.

Beth hasn't been arrested by the Peruvians for no reason - she crossed
the legal line.

Yes we will wait and see but common sense dictates real damage has been done.

The translations are terrible but some of the more recent articles seem to be implying that she was returned to the prison after a short interview. Too early to tell if she was actually arrested I suppose.:waitasec:



In a news bulletin of the 24 Horas is to see how Peter R. de Vries , with his film crew present at the departure of Beth Holloway from prison . The mother of Natalee after a short trial would have turned the prison .

I looked at the Dutch articles in Dutch and it just said that Beth was questioned for a short time in prison and then put outside the prison. No arrest.

This is funny. According to the Dutch TV video, yesterday was women's day at Castro Castro. Meaning sisters,wifes, girlfriends, other female relatives could visit. Peter de Vries cooked up the idea of smuggling Beth in during such a day. Beth just stood in line with the other Peruvian women and had a hidden camera. Apparently the director of the prison recognized De Vries and came outside to investigate. The way I understand, Beth did not get to see Joran, was sent back and was not arrested. Just questioned and then let go. The director raised heck with Peter de Vries though.
