Now he's the mentalist?

Could her decision to climb over just be bravado or drunken courage?

Bravado? Courage?? Have you not heard how utterly terrified she was in that tape??

I think everyone has heard her terror. But we have heard things like "I don't know how her 'terrified' scream sounds, I don't know her voice" etc (not from the poster you were replying to).

Some are somehow able to ignore the screams, or gloss them over somehow. Just as a domestic abuser is able to ignore the screams of their domestic victim.

imo

If I heard those kind of screams anywhere, at any time, I would know that the person screaming was in terrible trouble.

Jeez, Trooper was right. Guy is getting chunkier by the day. Wonder if his lawyer told him to gain weight, make him look less like a "playboy?"

More like wilful ignorance. They damn well know she was terrified but gotta save that face, defend the brah. Meh, whatever.

You know if you constantly put thoughts into a drunk persons mind like the balcony comments then they can act out on those thoughts. Tostee's constant mentioning of balconies, don't jump etc could of planted the seed for W to act on those thoughts. That makes him culpable in my opinion.

Yes that is definitely what I think too. He constantly put thoughts of the balcony into her mind and she acted on them.

Saul Holt, QC, said in his closing address to jurors on Friday, his murder trial would have played out very differently

“Thank goodness he did ... thank goodness he did press record on his app at 12.55,” Mr Holt said.

“Can you imagine for a moment this case if that recording had not existed? ..........................................

“This case would just have involved what the neighbours heard, that messed up scene inside the house and the fact that she’s dead, on the floor, 14 storeys below

Yep I am imagining.

Legal arguments?

The man with the silver tongue saying "Awww, c'mon judge. It's not his fault, There is no case. Why do these things always happen to him" ?

I wonder if the defence is more than a little concerned about how the jury will decide. Hence, the legal argument. Maybe he is realising how the general public (so, potentially, the jury) feel about this case and Warriena's obvious terror. So he'd like to stop the trial before it goes to the jury.

Is anyone doing the tweets for us today ??.
