It's scary and creepy how many times remains are found during construction like that. Wow.

I suppose most of those unsolved murders didn't actually happen in the area, just the remains left there because it was deserted.

And so comes another year of wondering who 'Kate' really was.
I know they'll do another article on her in our local paper oh, and I know people will be driving by my house again asking if I knew, which obviously I do.
I can only hope that this is the year that they figure out who she is, so they can find the bastards that did it to her.

Workers were digging a trench near Riverside Drive and Castleberry Lane in Bullhead City in 1989 when they dug up the corpse of an unidentified woman believed to be in her early 20s. If she was between 17 – 19 years, pre- 20 when found in '89, (PMI, Namus, killed in '87 or earlier, so two years minus), then she would be born estimated between 1968 – 1970. Is she was in her early twenties she is more likely born between 1967 (20 yrs) 1966 (21 yrs) 1965 (22 yrs) and 1964(23 years)

One earring for pierced ear. A multicolored owl. Per Bullhead City PD report, a purse and woman's clothing were also found.
I couldn't fine anything about the clothes description or purse in any file.

Did anybody found something about this Jane Doe gave birth?

Hi Tallulah L. I'm having trouble with the post mortem interval. If the 5 - 10 years PMI estimate is accurate it's hard to see Kris fitting in the timeline. Also this Jane Doe had an upper dental plate for two teeth. I see a lot of dental work mentioned for Kris...not sure but wouldn't they have mentioned a dental plate?

It was just a vague comment about her (Kris) extensive dental work would help identify her. Her age, time of disappearance, and we're not that far from Pheonix that really caught my attention. The fact that after 3 months a body can look like it's been buried for three years out here due to the extreme temperatures, made me feel like it was a possibility. I just don't know how to turn any of that in. And unless I missed something I didn't see where Kris has ever been ruled out as Kate.

Maybe you are right. I don't know, but doing this for a couple of years I trust the coroner/the people who examine the body's...how big is the chance that Kris is this UID? If they estimated the PMI between 5-10 years, 3 months wouldn't fit into this, even if you consider mistakes are made. And I almost sure they would have mentioned the dental plate...it's a good identifier, so why leave it out.

I want to throw Aleca Renee Manning out in this thread as a suggestion. She's a bit off on height, age and the estimated PMI, and there's no information about her dentals (at least not public), but she is Caucasian/Native American (born in Alaska) and went missing from Phoenix, AZ.

On 02/17/1975 at approximately 10:30 P.M., Lisa Manning was last seen at the Celebrity Theatre which is located at 440 North 32nd Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Lisa never returned home and she failed to show up for work. Foul play is suspected in Lisa's disappearance. Aleca is of mixed race: white and native american.
