CA - Keith Green, 27, found deceased, Millbrae, 28 April 2016 *not guilty*

This article had a bit more detail than some.

Just my thoughts, but probably nothing original:

I think Keith intended to be going to the pancake house (across the street, we've read in other accounts) only, to meet and talk to his ex-gf and that's why he left his wallet and keys at the apt. Maybe not even IN the pancake house, just outside in the parking lot. It's possible there isn't much street parking, and the pancake house was a convenient closeby place to park and meet.

The phone was found at Golden Gate Park, but it could be that he never was even at the park and that someone placed the phone there to throw searchers off track.

The article says the police have been able to access the phone's location data. Does that mean they know all the movements of where the phone was after he was last seen at the pancake house? I would think that would provide such a key clue.

I think they should talk to his children's mother. see if she has a new bf, if there has been any issues between them.
Absolutely this. It doesn't even need to involve a new bf if she simply did not want to share custody of the kids.

Speculation: She may have lured him into a vehicle and then everything went sideways with a little help from her friends.

Family has posted on his missing FB page that his body has been found.

The body of a missing Millbrae man was found in the Sonoma area last week, sources told NBC Bay Area on Tuesday.

Keith Green, 27, who was last seen April 28 at his home, was found dead, and police believe it was a homicide, the sources said. No other information was immediately available.

On the day he went missing, he left home without his wallet or car.
The next morning, his cellphone was found by a hiker in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.

Green, a father of two daughters, was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a white zip-up top and bright-red shoes.
Green's mother, Colleen Cudd, said he loved his culinary classes, his new job and his children.

Lots to think about if this was Keith.

Decomposed Body Found Near Healdsburg This Morning

Bay City News Service Published 11:07 am, Wednesday, May 11, 2016

A Sonoma County sheriff's deputy found a dead body near a homeless encampment north of Healdsburg this morning, a sheriff's sergeant said.

The deputy was with members of the county's Homeless Outreach Services Team that was looking for a homeless encampment in a field near the Lytton Station Road off-ramp of northbound U.S. Highway 101 in unincorporated Sonoma County around 8:20 a.m., Sgt. Cecile Focha said.

The decomposed body was found along a dirt road 5-10 feet down an embankment and it is not clear that the person was associated with the encampment, Focha said.

Detectives cordoned off the area as a possible crime scene and questioned two people. Investigators do not know if the deceased person was a victim of foul play or trauma, Focha said.

An autopsy will be conducted today or Thursday, she said.

Lots of unanswered questions.

An autopsy determined that he was the victim of a homicide.

At this time, the San Mateo Sheriff’s Office is not releasing any information regarding the cause or method of his death, as it may compromise the investigation.

There are no suspects at this time, according to police.

YUP. Does she have ties to Sonoma County? If you wanted to murder someone from Millbrae in the Bay Area, unincorporated Hayward or Oakland or even Richmond would be a much more logical choice than north of Santa Rosa.

need to talk to ex-girlfriend.
