They lived for a while with Allans parents, then for a time Alma Lane in Ancaster, then built a big home on Indian Trail, which Allan designed. Allans brother, David, was a pilot and flew the two of them up north into the bush to camp for a week. They travelled to Europe for three weeks. She talked about having kids.
