Death Row at Lowell Annex

Um - May 26, 2011 hasn't happened yet. What up with that?

Transfer date possibly. Probably redecorating her new DR cell, new paint, new comfy bed, you know - all that great stuff! Oh, and don't forget to replace the carpeting and pink walls!

:floorlaugh:

Showers: The inmates may shower every other day.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Security: Death Row inmates are counted at least once an hour. They are escorted in handcuffs and wear them everywhere except in their cells, the exercise yard and the shower.

Clothing: Death Row inmates can be distinguished from other inmates by their orange t-shirts. Their pants are the same blue colored pants worn by regular inmates

12.68 years is the average length of stay on Death Row prior to execution.

Trivia: The executioner:
Is a private citizen who is paid $150 per execution. State law allows for his or her identity to remain anonymous.

Orange often makes one look pastey.

I am intrigued by the citizen who is paid. I wonder about the hows whys whens and where the heck do you apply? Could you do it? - I know I couldn't.

That's changed. They retired ole Sparky. No more. After a couple of unfortunate incidents (think Green Mile) they did away with the chair. Just lethal injection now.

Wasn't there an awful incident published on an internet site?

Not much room and absolutely no privacy.

At 6' wide, you could touch the both side walls with your fingertips

under the general facts is this little gem "They do not have...air-conditioning"

That makes me happy ...... on those nice humid and hot days of August ICA will be miserable
Does not look like much of a chance for a cross breeze either. No window in the cell. But then again, that trunk was not air conditioned either.( I am of the firm belief that the the trunk was her Nanny)

Thanks. I thought I had lost a week.

Margaret A. Allen

DC# 699575 BF, born 1/23/66, was sentenced to death from Brevard County on May 26, 2011 for torturing and killing her housekeeper, Wenda Wright, whom she thought had stolen money from her purse. The jury unanimously voted for the death penalty for her. She also got a life sentence for kidnapping. Prosecutors said the torture went on for hours before Wright was strangled with a belt. Allen's roommate, James Martin, and nephew, Quinton Allen, were both convicted for their part in helping her try to bury the body in a shallow grave.

Her sentencing date is impossible. We haven't gotten there yet. Correction needed, please.

After looking at this, it looks like only two women have actually been executed in Florida,
the others have had been re-sentenced or had their sentence commuted. Guess this would be a question for the lawyers, but what happened...did they go through their appeals or a new trial?

I want this jury to give Casey the DP SO bad.

I don't care if they commute her to LWOP after, I just want to see her face when they annouce they are giving her the DP.

If Anybody needs to be on DR, It is Casey.

Casey Will be suffering on DR. LWOP she will not.

Is the fifth mugshot her latest? where can I see it at?

There's some privacy. Three of the walls are solid. Only visibility is from the bars (unless there's a nanny cam).

Height: 9 1/2 feet. That's not too bad. Lots of head room when she's stretching toward the ceiling after writing all those long, loving letters to Mommy Dearest. Plenty of wall space to hang pictures and calendars.

Yep, that's the one. Just for fun, here are nice comparison photos. Happy go-lucky Universal Tour Guide photo taken by Detectives (left) and her return to Orange County Jail Mug on Saturday (right).

ooof... she needs a spray tan or something. She looks like a sick person in her most current shot. I'm glad that effin smile has been smacked from her face... and her days laughing in court are gone... now I expect tears. Lots and lots of big fake tears.

Back on topic... That virtual tour of the cell is great. No desk, no nothing but a steel toilet/sink and a bed. What a bella vita...

Sentence date is correct. That was the date the Judge gave her her sentence. The actual execution date is years from now.

If you look at the links that show the list of folks who received execution, it shows their offense date, guilty convention date, sentence date, received date, then finally, their execution date.

Allen is the latest women to join the ladies on death row. She might not have been transferred there yet, she is so new.

If she was sentenced on May 26, 2011, she must be living in a very different world. In this world, U.S.A., today is May 22, 2011. How does that work?

Per FL DOC website, Allen was sentenced 5/19/2011 and became a resident of Lowell Annex the same day.

That picture of the injection bed is terrifying. Just terrifying.

I haven't done anything wrong, and it scares ME!

It just makes it even more mind boggling that she wouldn't plea this out in the first place. That is either some special confidence or special arrogance she's got, thinking she can sweet talk and lie her way out of this big mess. It really is amazing.
:burn:

Remember her dad said she would take her behavior as far as she could go and even then continue ........(paraphrased)
I expect her to set her eyes on a young male juror and try to make a connection. She has always been enabled and her attorneys will continue to do so until she is convicted.

LOL! I didn't catch that. But that is florida news papers for you. When they report that there will be a shuttle launch on tuesday, they will not give you the time it is expected to launch. You have to research that yourself.

I didn't realize that photo of Casey smiling was taken by the detectives at Universal when she was giving them a tour of the place.

I though it was taken by one of her friends before she killed Caylee.

Goodness, Casey REALLY is Sick.
