I submitted Prescott to the doe network in august 2019, never heard anything back and he’s still not on the rule out list. I may try submitting to NAMUS, I know it’s a long shot but it’s worth a try.

Article from the Tampa Bay Times (30 Apr 1980) referencing that Jack Roy Davis knew relatives of David Ann Thomas. Also it is noted that police know the motive behind the double murders but do not want to release it.

From the Tama Bay Times (29 April 1980) Davis is listed as being a carpenter.

From what I can tell, our UID was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think Jack may have been flirting around with David and that made Kyle mad. Kyle apparently just entered the room and started shooting while they slept, he didn’t care who he hit. Most of this info was developed from the ME Office but the rest is just what we know.

I think it's probably 5'8"

Tippit's circumstances certainly leave room for him to be in Florida under somewhat sleazy circumstances, and he matches the name and where the decedent is thought to have come from.

Chuck Brining of the medical examiner told me that isotope testing did reveal Robert had been in Florida for the last part of his life.
