I saw this story last night but was too tired to figure out where to post it. Today there are multiple stories. Last night there were two, and one stated that some or one of the body parts found was weighted down. But I have to consider it a rumor now because I cannot find it!

It was posted a few posts up, but the article is much longer today and worded slightly differently.

One of the stories I read said they found a 20 lb. weight. I'll see if I can figure out which one it was too. Here it is:

heard about this case this morning.... I have been WAY behind on WS so I'm just catching up... As far as i know there are no further public updates but anyone here who finds links, hears news and especially LOCALS please participate and update/enlighten us..... this is so beyond horrid

Starks said bodies have been found in the park over the years, but this discovery is particularly sad.


Starks said the park overall is a great place, but it does have issues, mainly people who linger in unlit, tree-sheltered areas to sell or buy drugs, engage in sex acts or sleep for the night. No one is allowed to park their vehicle in the park from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m, a rule put in place after some groups of people caused problems.

A recent upgrade to park infrastructure, including to the fieldhouse on the lagoon and some of the roads and trails, has helped, but Starks said more lighting is still needed.

"It wouldn't surprise me that someone would dump that there and no one would see them," Starks said.

I have a feeling that the child's body is that of this missing child. However, where is the aunt? It doesn't sound like she has the mental ability to kill a child in the manner they were found. I think they are both victims because of her health issues.

If we're aware of all of the body parts that have been found so far, then it seems like it is more than likely from the same child since the parts match, e.g., two hands, one left foot and one right foot. IMO

I found a 2-yo boy missing from Gary, IN on 7-25-15. Gary is not far from Chicago. I'll have to go back and get more info. I think he was with an adult aunt who had some problems.
