Yeah I thought more people would be all over this.

We were all over it until the information ran dry. We really don't know anything until LE speaks up. Not much out there to "sleuth" yet.

It appears that the parking lot has gates that can be locked.

Street view also shows a gate opposite this one on the other side of the road that is also locked. Might keep a car out but access on foot is easy. Of course, they might not have been locked either.

If the discovery was in a parking lot, it wouldn't fit the same MO as Abby & Libby -- but there is a creek behind the fields, along with train tracks to the east, and industrial facilities to the immediate south.

Of course we have zilch info right now and this case could very likely be unrelated to A and L or not even a murder, but FTR some killers have varying MOs.

Whats the weather like in Indiana? Never been there, is it hot? warm, humid? I know its considered "suspicious" at the moment, perhaps she was running, jogging, and passed out... I'm not seeing any recent missing persons cases out of IN, at least no young, white females. :(

Not hot enough at this time of year that one would suspect a heat-related situation.

I honestly don't believe this death is related to Libby and Abby. Although this is still a rather small town in Indiana, as others have pointed out, it's nearly 4 hours away. If we want to consider this one related then we would also need to look at deaths in Louisville, Chicago, Columbus, etc. Those cities are even closer to Delphi. Since we have few details about how Libby and Abby died, there is nothing really to compare about the two cases, except for the fact that it's a young female in both cases.

Still, I hope this is resolved soon. I have lost a child. I feel for any parent that goes through that.

(Back to work, will be checking for updates throughout the day if possible.)

I'm thinking she might not have even had a chance to be reported missing, especially IF she was jogging this morning...

Someone's family is going to "get that call"...:(

ETA: Or maybe it was a secondary dump/disposal....

Ok back to work, no more speculating, just thinking out loud...need more info!

I wonder if this is related to the attempted abductions in Bloomington, IN. It's only a couple hours away. MOO

Generally speaking, I would assume that any related case would NOT take place in any of the cities you name. With what we know or suspect, it seems like more of a small town/rural connection.

Of course that could be totally off base since we know so little.

NCMEC doesn't show any girls missing from the immediate area since March. There are a few from the Indianapolis-Muncie area.

Savanna Crawford is missing since April 10 from Leitchfield KY about an hour and a half away: http://www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/1293839/1/screen

Destiny Wilson missing from Lexington since March: http://www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/1292978/1/screen

The best fit timewise is Mercedes Pattillo, missing since April 18 from Columbia MO, about four(?) hours away. http://www.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/1294456/1/screen

There's an old case in Warrick County, from 1994, Theresa Rideout (https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/34571/0/) but she wasn't young and the time frame seems unlikely.
