Myrisha's proflile has a pic of her mom on the bottom, I think it sort of looks like the sketch of Lisa Does mom also. Their profiles both say they have DNA on file... would they automatically be matched in the system (if they did match) or would someone have to compare the results? Not sure how that really works...?

I got a message back from the founder that said "Thank you for your potential match. I will look into it and get back with you asap."

I will update the thread as soon as I hear something back.

I wondered about the age too, but I don't think we know exactly when "Lisa Doe" was abducted or if she grew up with the person who actually abducted her.

Wonder if she is in touch with the "family" that raised her or if she had any brothers and sisters... I would like to know more on this story as to why she thinks she was kidnapped.

I would like to know as well. I can't find anything as to why, but I'm thinking it might have to do with her early memories and not having any earlier pictures of her than the ones posted. Although there has to be some reason she, and the detectives on her case, feel she was abducted and not adopted. I don't really understand the reasoning for not releasing the details though.
 
A while back I replied to the post about this lady on the canyouidentifyme blog, suggesting that Cheryl Grimmer (missing 3 yrs old in 1970 from Australia) might be possible if the timeframes can stretch that far. I'm assuming the owner of the blog passed the possible on, as a comment made after mine has been unscreened and mine has not.

There is one person who claimes to have seen Cheryl healthy and happy in the company of a couple after she disappeared. "Portuguese or something" was the wording.

wow..... Just read all of this. It does sound strange that she can't give us any information,Who she grew up with? Where? Reasons for feeling she was abducted? I'm sure if she got her case out there with all of needed information it would be a lot easier to solve.Somebody is hiding something whether she was really abducted or not.

I'm drawing a blank on the name right now, but what about the toddler who was kidnapped by the new babsitter that the mother had just met that day? I think she was a single mom who had to work? Does that ring a bell with anyone? I know there is a theread on her. I have the worst memory
 
Okay just remembered it was Melissa Highsmith that I was thinking of in my above post, who went missing in '71 at the age of one. I guess the time frame is off as well as the eye color.
 
Like I said in one of my other posts, I wish we knew why exactly she thinks she was kidnapped. Maybe they are being tightlipped in her investigation and they know more than they are sharing with the public???

From the link it says that: "The information about this case has been verified with NCMEC and a private investigator handling the case."
So they must have a reason for not sharing all of the details.

I can't get over how much she looks like Sheri Lynn Johnson. I e-mailed the admin of the blog, to suggest that they look into this despite the apparent inconsistency in dates. Given that I know of at least three instances where incorrect Dates of Last Contact resulted in identifications being delayed (some by decades), this is too close of a resemblance to write off based on inconsistent dates.

She is not on the rule out list provided on the blog.

That's a remarkable resemblance. The Charley Project says that Sheri Lynn has a brother and under his profile they've done an age progression. I don't know how reliable they are but the older Michael looks like the adult Lisa Doe. At least the Independence PD is checking DNA for a prisoner in Arkansas to see if it's a match to Micheal. I don't know how they got the DNA, it doesn't say.

Sorry I haven't gone back to confirm this with the blog, but doesn't Lisa Doe have blue eyes. Sheri Lynn has brown eyes. By that age children's eyes usually never change colors so drastically.
