ORLANDO -- According to a report on Orlando, Florida radio station WDBO 580 Newstalk Radio, a woman in the town of Ocoee has been served with a search warrant as part of the murder investigation of Michelle Young of Wake County, North Carolina.
WRAL has redesigned it's website - as a result all of the links previously posted no longer work. Doing a search of the website reveals the following - the articles are still there but must be searched out. Here is the results of the search:
The Globe (tabloid) January 1, 2007 issue, page 23.
No link from the Globe, but basically telling us nothing new. Comparing case to Laci Peterson. You'll have to stand in your checkout line to read or buy it.
Cover has Camilla on left half and Steve Irwin and his daughter on the right half, if you're looking for it.
Submitted by Investigator B.T. David of the Wake County Sheriffs Office Person Crimes Unit:
The computer was seized after a search of a 2004 Ford Explorer registered to Jason Young, the victims husband. Jason had driven the vehicle from 5108 Birchleaf Drive, Raleigh to Virginia. He left on November 2, 2006 and returned to Raleigh on November 3, 2006 in the Ford Explorer after being notified of his wifes death. The vehicle contains papers identifying Jason Young as the owner of the vehicle.
The mother of Michelle Fisher Young, a former Sayville resident who was killed two months ago at her North Carolina home, yesterday spoke tearfully of the pain of missing her daughter after a church service where a Mass was offered for the young woman.
Holding up a picture of her daughter, Linda Fisher said outside St. Lawrence the Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Sayville, "Isn't she wonderful? ... That was our song," referring to the Stevie Wonder song "Isn't She Lovely."

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Wake County investigators searching for the killer of a slain pregnant woman are focusing on her husband, citing the couple's financial problems and a "substantial" life insurance policy that he stood to benefit from upon her death, according to documents made public Thursday.
I think their headline is a little misleading! There isn't much in this article that we haven't already read. Local perspective since this is where Michelle Fisher owned a home:
In early November a pregnant mother was found beaten to death in her south Raleigh home. Over two months after her body was discovered no arrests have been made in the case, but Wake County Sheriff's Deputies have entered into the Fuquay-Varina community to collect evidence. (more at link)
Raleigh Michelle Young was beaten numerous times and suffered a fractured skull when she was killed in early November, according to the autopsy report, which was released Monday.
