If you look at the timeline, it turns out a motorist called Indiana State Police to say they say a car driving erratically and then a few minutes later saw the vehicle off the road. State police got there within 5 minutes of the call. Point is, there wasn't a lot of time between the car going off the road and the cops finding it. Plus, that stretch of I-94 tends to be pretty busy even at night w/ trucks going between Detroit and Chicago (car was found about 9:20 p.m. Indiana time). So it's hard to imagine that someone could have hit her and disposed of the body that quickly and w/o witnesses.

I think there was a call at 10:02 of a car being driven erratically, another call at 10:15 that the car was off the road and police got there at 10:20.

My colleague Rex Hall says there was only 1 call -- at 10:02 -- and the police call there at 10:20.
