I don't understand.

They just remind me of people I'd know. I guess crazy flocks to crazy. It all sounds like some kind of Nelson County soap opera transplanted to Vegas. They happen in lives everywhere if you look around. You just might have been able to steer clear of it.

"According to Robert Meyers, his wife Tammy was out giving their 15-year-old daughter driving lessons about a mile from their home. “It seems the perpetrator was mad Tammy’s car was going slow,” says the husband. “He came up on them doing excessive speed and she honked. The perpetrator’s car then got on the side of theirs, driving in the bike lane, and knocked a piece of side molding from Tammy’s car. Her vehicle then made a quick right at an intersection. His vehicle made an illegal U-turn at the intersection and continued to pursue them. He then skidded in front of them preventing them from going forward."

bbm: then retrieve it from the road next day.....it's plastic

He sure makes a big deal of illegal left turns etc ....... when his own are making big mistakes like learning to drive w/out permit...jmo
and not reporting road rage, gunfire, stalking, threats to LE.....JMO

Sorry if this is redundant. I admit I have only been reading the highlights but reading the criminal complaint the daughter's story doesn't ring true.
How as a passenger can she see if a car sped up behind them? Why would she honk the horn if a car was passing them? In NYC okay but residential LV that late at night?
Why would they make a threat that they would "come back for them"? Sounds like a really bad script writer. Not only that they managed to drive around the car anyway so why stop and wait for the threat. IMO seems like the Myers were looking for EN and got more then they bargained for? Not saying it was justified, just that the story doesn't fit.

Husband of Vegas road rage victim reveals new details | HLNtv.com
According to Robert Meyers, his wife Tammy was out giving their 15-year-old daughter driving lessons about a mile from their home.

“This guy got in front of my wife and didn't allow her to leave,” relates Robert Meyers. The victim’s husband continued to describe the events of that deadly day. “The skid marks are still there. Then he got out of his car, approaching them saying ‘I’m going to kill both of you!’ As soon as he heads back to his vehicle, Tammy spun around and sped home. He saw her taillights turn right. If you watch the video, it shows him go straight past our street. He was looking for our street.”

When asked why authorities have said three people were later in the vehicle, Robert Meyers says he can’t explain it. “He might have been alone at the time or there might have been more in the car,” says the husband. “But the windows were tinted, we don’t know.”

“She did amazing driving to get our baby home,” Robert Meyers says proudly. “But I think my wife panicked. She didn't want the altercation at home. She gets home and says to our daughter, ‘Baby, I love you. Stay in the house. Get your brother.’ My daughter goes in the house and wakes him up, says someone’s trying to kill them.”

“He gets in the car, they were trying to draw them away. There was no intent to shoot anybody. They had plenty of opportunity. They thought they lost the guys. They continued driving making sure the guys were nowhere around,” Robert Meyers details.

“People don't realize they tried to kill my wife and son 2 blocks away!” the husband exclaims. “When they turned a corner they actually encountered the car a couple blocks away! The bad guys were parked in front of a house, near the side of the school, Johnson Middle School. My son didn't even realize it was the car. My wife and son proceeded to go forward in front of the school. The bad guys must have seen her headlights and figured it was her. They opened fire out of the window. Tammy didn't realize there was going to be a gunfight. She puts the car in reverse to come home. My son did not fire any shots.”

Then Robert Meyers reveals what happened in the final moments. “These guys were in pursuit and they went down another street to cut them off,” he says. “My wife and Brandon went down our street. It gave her enough time to get home and she tells my son behind the truck. They came to our home and murdered her at our home. How do we know my son didn't fire first? It doesn't matter. They were at our home!”

How many versions have we heard of the altercation so far? I can only think that he is making things up as he goes along. I don't know what to think, other than I don't really believe what he says.

Thank You for posting the arrest warrant Kimi!

I'm still reading it, trying to reconcile the various versions of events.

Of this I'm certain: Erich Nowsch is a violent, dangerous <mod snip>. He never should have followed them home. According to his friends, he bragged about shooting TM. He's a , as far as I'm concerned.

I knew they were a real cast of characters, every last one. I just didn't know how to say it at the time.

Well the world has noticed his behavior......it is sad that someone died.

Life is either inspirational or a cautionary tale.....JMO

absolutely ..... and there are others who are as well....that cannot be named....TOS

So in the LE document posted up line, it says Erich told his friend that he shot at someone who was running up to the house, and shot someone who was by the car. So, safe to say the one he shot by the car is Tammy ( since she is the only one shot... ) But if BM was there, just feet away from his mom, returning fire.. who was running to the house??? And the suspect supposedly either told his friend that the people did not return fire... ( or did not mention that they did... although if he was bragging, I would expect him to turn it into the shootout at the OK Corral-) But BM says he returned fire.
So... is it possible that BM did NOT shoot back... went running to the house... leaving mom there to get shot... but of course that sounds kind of cowardly doesnt it???
But the ONLY people who could have been running to the house were BM or... little sister...who was supposedly in the house??

Who is Las Vegas shooting suspect Erich Nowsch? - CNN.com
That was anticlimactic, wasn't it? Based on the title, I expected some background information. People here have dug up more on him than CNN reporters. Websleuthers should start freelancing for the news stations. LOL

bbm: my bet .....

Do the times in the criminal complaint match up for anyone else?

The sad thing about this is that the teen daughter is probably the least culpable in this meltdown, yet she was the one that honked the horn that set the ball rolling.

Isn't that what purportedly (who knows who to believe?) started the "mouth running" and "gun flashing" from ALL of the other involved parties?

bbm: a bit dramatic for a stranger to say that -- there must have been some history between them..........

I totally agree......this is 'contrived'

The kid would have already had the gun on him, and his friend with the car already picked him up. What would he need to come back for? Makes no sense.

I really think there is a lot more to all of this..yes...silliness became deadly...I think ''they'' want us to believe it was something as empty headed behavior but that is symptomatic ((MOO)) of anger issues too...Acorns and trees. There sure is an air of ''entitlement'' going on there.
