awh Carbuff, we have posted at the same time and have not seen your post prior to hitting my submit button.
I was researching maps as well, and yes, seems a bit confusing. It seems a bit unlikely that remains washed ashore at corner of Shore Pkwy & Bay 46th St, Brooklyn as mentioned in one article, as that location is behind highway and quite inland already, unless of course floods reach that far. I have unpuzzled that Bath Beach is greater area just above Coney Island which includes Calvert Vaux Park, rather than Bath beach being located in Calvert Vaux Park, as I have previously thought and searched.
There are somewhat mixed reviews of the park from visitors but it helps to visualize the feel of the area/park.
