I went through 3 years of brain cancer with my mom. TRUST ME PLEASE when I say that it is NOTHING LIKE regular cancers. I've been around many a family member with various types of cancers. With brain cancer, it would change her behavior, personality. She may yell and say terrible things, get your name wrong, loose bowel control, not know how to eat some days, not be able to walk, talk or anything. These things can come and go for a great deal of time depending on the type of brain cancer and how aggressive it is.Seeker said:Cass, I'm not sure how familiar you are with this case, but Burke was there as was JonBenet the first time Patsy went through chemo and radiation. It's not like Burke hasn't seen her battling this for the past 11 years....
Patsy's birth family is there with her...but her son and husband aren't.
It is a very horrific way to see a loved one die. Going through chemo is one thing.... having your children see you that way - but going through this.... can be permanently damaging on the family left behind.
