If she was, in fact, buried at least a foot or more below ground, her body would probably still be identifiable.
Also, dentals. That's usually what they use for a really quick ID.

That's very good news though, because it means that there may well be DNA evidence, and it may well be possible to identify what happened and how she was murdered. The more information they have, the more likely there will be a successful prosecution.
If true, that is within probably a mile of JM's childhood home.
