At least it's only 100 pixels wide, or I'd REALLY be in trouble (lol).
 
Topix posters have mentioned items have been stolen from the memorial. Isn't this totally disrespectful?

If it's true, Trino, then it breaks my heart to hear about it. I can't imagine how someone can do something like that and not feel the least bit guilty about it. So yes, you're right... It would be COMPLETELY disrespectful.
 
They have mentioned batteries and several stuffed animals that are no longer there.
 
I found this very interesting.

Brown said 40 of those owners showed up with their guns, which were fired outside the courthouse.

She said about five owners contacted the OSBI to say they no longer owned the weapons, although they did provide the names of the new owners.

“We’ll be checking on them,” Brown said, as well as the 15 or so registered gun owners who did not show up for the test firings.

Why wouldn't anyone rush to cooperate with OSBI so that they could have their gun ruled out completely?

It will be very interesting to see what they find out concerning the 15 no shows. Some may have moved but then it seems like LE would be notified of that and if they left no change of address the individual letter would have come back to OSBI.

I wonder if a cheap wireless camera could be set up.. is there such a thing?? I know we bought a camera from Harbor Frieght for our driveway cause we had gas stolen from both trucks... we caught the the punk boyfriend of the girl across the street ha ha ..

Wow! Strangulation. I would say that is some serious abuse going on. Does he have prior abuse charges? And what is up with the dismissal?! They really don't do much besides slap these people on the hand, do they?

Advise drivers of nature of investigation
· Vehicle registration, State, Tag
· Vehicle description
· Completely ID all vehicle occupants
· How often do they travel route
· Did they travel on the date of the incident
· What time did they travel and what vehicle
· What did they observe
· Determine time they made observation and how they established time
· What other vehicle observed at the time
· What people were observed at that time
· Obtain any information they can provide
· If appropriate obtain permission to search vehicle

Excellent find. Sure makes me wonder why they didn't do this immediately? Seems like waiting this long doesn't make nearly as much sense. Maybe if they had been out there for the whole week after the shootings, they would be further ahead.

LOL.... Keep looking GS, it's there... Shoot, hold on, I gotta shoo away all these flying monkeys... :p Just kidding. Honestly, this case (and poking around on WS) has got me to the point that I have become so sleep-deprived that I think I see Elvis in a bowl of oatmeal. Hang in there :)

Welcome to this thread, Cagney. I dont believe I have seen you here, but I havent been here that long myself.
Do you mind if I ask you what drew you here? I just wonder those things sometimes. Do you have any theories that stick out to you? Or feelings or such?
 
Does anyone have info re: how much money the Plackers dropped at the casino? Gosh. It me boil that they couldn't afford to pay for the funeral and haven't established a reward fund, yet they hit the casino. I know they're not traditional, but there should be values somewhere in the family.

A few things could have been done with the monies left over after Funeral expenses were paid by both families such as the Reward Fund, or a Scholarship Fund.

Obviously they have chosen not to do so. When you donate a money gift set up by a Bank to anyone, you have no say, or control over how they spend the money.

However, their decisions may have played a part as to why many now are not contributing to the Reward Fund...........dunno
