I agree with nettie this has to be horrible plus having the accused there as well... OMG my thoughts and prayers are going out to the family and the jurys on this very difficult day.

The house McClintic described is also visible, but quite a distance away.

This picture does not look like it is in front of the laneway at all. There is no house across the road.

The Michael Rafferty kidnap and murder trial in London has shifted to the Mount Forest area.: http://bit.ly/HEoiD5

There's a heavy police presence on the Sixth Concession, north of Sideroad E. Both are gravel roads just east of Mount Forest. Reporters are being kept back from the entrance to a path into a woodlot. That's where investigators found the eight-year-old girls' body under a rockpile. Jury members will see the scene for themselves, with the assistance of a guide prepared by police and the Crown

The headline on this pic is wrong...the laneway is further down the road...you can see in the distance the house/barn etc on the left, which is across from the laneway.

This pic shows the trees on the right as you are heading towards the upcoming laneway.

The guidebook provides eight spots, lettered A through G, for the jurors to visit.

The tour begins at a laneway across the road from a house that McClintic described as sitting at an angle to the road.

Jurors will then head up the laneway past a culvert to the crest of the hill, where flags with the appropriate letters will guide them to look back at the house, the rock pile, silos that McClintic identified, and the spot under the tree where Tori's body was found on July 19, 2009.
