Jury gives stiletto killer life for brutal murder

Prosecutor John Jordan climbed atop a courtroom table in front of a dozen wide-eyed jurors, straddled a mannequin torso and pantomimed hitting the dummy in the face with a high-heel stiletto.

It was the first time the jurors, who would eventually sentence Ana Trujillo to life in prison, could see for themselves how something so ordinary could be used in such a deadly way.

With TV cameras rolling on each of Jordan's swings, it was also the kind of drama that will become part of the lore that surrounds Houston's courthouse.

Update on Ana Fox (Trujillo) Her case is currently under appeal but I read the appeal and I doubt she has a chance of getting that life sentence off her back. She deserved what she got because I knew her personally. (She used to look great a couple years before the murder.) She had a quick temper on her when she drank. She was also an "escort". Her men who supported her were all older white guys who paid her bills for a little sex. She was into witchcraft and carried a voodoo doll her Mom gave her. She and I were intimate without really having sex, I knew she had a list of "boyfriends" and I didnt want to catch anything Clorox didn't wash off. When she was sober she was very articulate and could carry on a great conversation. She knew the law well as she worked for a couple attorney's here in Houston.

She reminds me of the great author, Ann Rule.
