Yes he will have access to his statement but NOT in the witness box unless, as has just happened, he is specifically asked to refer to it.

ETA: IT meaning the bundle, not the statement. He will have been handed a bundle specifically to look at this one thing and will then hand it back.

. BBM. Well remember when Helen opened the door to Joe/Nick or was it Dave and IS stood behind her holding Boris! I can just imagine IS quivering if that scenario ever happened as he told the tale. I'd like to take this opportunity to say hello to all and a HUGE thank you to all the hard work fellow sleuths have done, I have been following since the beginning but never posted. Hopefully I can keep up today as on Wednesday I had to walk away, I just cannot explain how ill IS was making me feel with his absolute drivel and 12 year old boys tales of these (Bad Men) even a 12 year old would tell someone. Anyway I will leave it there as I can feel my heart pounding again just the thought of it and I am not going to have an heart attack caused by that pathetic excuse for a man! Must now get my spray in hand to cope with the next lot. See I'm way behind already!

He is infuriating isn't he. The sheer gall of the man. But I comfort myself with the thought that it's exactly that that will get him convicted.

Ah, thank you. It took a long time to find the information about not being able to have his statement in the witness box although I expect I wasn't looking in the right places. I had read it the day before but my history clears down daily. Thanks for explaining the bundle would have been handed to him.
