This was the trial schedule on Monday. It appears to have been something which arose during or after the witness's testimony, because no witnesses heard since then and there were legal submissions with reporting restrictions.

I imagine it could be something the jury heard in evidence that prejudiced her case, and if so it wouldn't be reported because it could prejudice a future trial too. That's my guess.

Wow - finally! Hopefully some resolution this time!
 
I don't understand why there is a trial.
Didn't this person confess?
Wasn't there a plea deal of some kind?
 
Was it that she would have confessed to manslaughter, but the prosecution pushed to convict on murder? But then the first trial collapsed for legal reasons. Upthread it was suggested that some information might have come before the jury that made a fair trial impossible, hence the upcoming retrial.
