Found Deceased VA - Robert Kovack, 24, Blacksburg, 18 Sept 1998

The article linked above states:

"An examination of the partial skeleton revealed his injuries suggest Kovack was struck by a vehicle before falling off the bridge."

But I wonder - after a fall from that height, how can you distinguish those injuries from being hit by a car?

This is my hometown of several generations. I love that bridge and the incredible, beautiful area surrounding it.

I finally got around to reading all the recent articles for Rob and none of them elaborate on the likelihood that he could have been hit by a car with no witnesses. I've never been to the bridge but some of earlier posts on this thread describe it as busy. I guess it would also depend on what time he was crossing the bridge.
