Websleuths Radio is now on Blog Talk Radio

Thank you Rhyme and Reason and A News Junkie for getting together and posting the shows.

Yes, LA Talk Radio did take down my shows. I think there were glad to see me go. Their set up couldn't handle the amount of listeners.

Thank you for all your great suggestions. Please keep them coming. And thank you for your kind compliments. It helps me a great deal.

I'll be in training today on Blog Talk Radio trying to figure it all out.

I have great news! Kimster is going to be my co host and help me with all the wild guests and phone calls we will have on Websleuths radio.

The time will be the same Sunday nights 5 PM PST/8 PM EST. Blog Talk Radio.

Over and out.

All Right, Kimster!!!!!!!!!! Co-Host!!! :woohoo: Bet when you volunteered to become a Mod you never thought about it leading to being a radio co-host!

I'm not sure whether I'm most impressed with your willingness to serve or Trish's ability to talk you into it but you both rock and we're looking forward to every show. You'll do great and we appreciate it!

Suggested guests:

Diane Dimond - has been in the courtroom every day until just a few days ago. Not sure if she charges a fee though. She's been trying to set up a live video chat, so seems to want to talk more about the trial.

Magpie from Hinky Meter - in the courtroom every day since the trial began, and tweeting and blogging about it.

Rob Dick - has been tweeting up a storm about the case, and seems to want to talk about it. A lot!

Tracy McLaughlin - actually, the Twitter account is shared by Rob and Tracy, so some of the tweets could be from her. I'm not sure.

Tim Miller - always a great guest. Love him!

Terry Lenamon - was Casey's DP attorney for a while there. Would love to hear his current views on the defense she is using. (She should have stuck with him.)

Diane Fanning - author and WS member. Has been following the trial and tweeting and blogging about it. Has been in talks about doing a follow on to her book based on the trial.

Walter Pacheco from Orlando Sentinel - has been covering the trial every day and tweeting. Very personable guy with a great sense of humor. Very observant.

Jim Lichtenstein - Today show producer - has been in the courtroom every day and tweeting

Steve Helling from People mag - has been in the courtroom frequently and tweeting. Personable and observant.

Mark NeJame - love me some NeJame!

Red Huber or Joe Burbank - official still photo pool photographers for the trial. Their pics are incredible, and they see a lot going on in and out of the courtroom.

Personally, I'm particularly interested right now in hearing from people who have been in the courtroom every day and can tell us about how the jury is reacting. Jim Lichtenstein, Steve Helling, and Magpie from Hinky Meter pay a lot of attention to the jurors and tweet about them. Jim Lichtenstein is extremely observant about what's going on around him in the courtroom. His tweets are priceless - good info we can't get watching from home. He tweets not only about the jurors and what they're doing, but what people in the gallery are doing that we can't see on the live streams.

Kimster - thanks for bumping this --- gives me the opportunity to share that both shows are now uploaded and here now. They look alike - because I just grabbed the piano cat to make them a video so I could upload them in youtube.

So, even though they look alike they are two shows. Enjoy everyone and hug Rhyme & Reason for us still having them!

Anne Rule.

In a few months, go for broke and invite George, Cindy, and Lee and Jose Baez.

Kathy Belich.

I'd take Hornsby every week.

In fact, several months after the trial is over, set up a debate -- Hornsby vs. Baez. Watch Hornsby snatch Baez up by the leg and twirl him like a lariat.

You. I'm very serious. Have Kimster interview you. Your involvement in the Ramsey case, how you decided to buy webslueths, the difference now vs. then in true crime forums, where you think webslueths will go, great forum wars of the past.

Don't forget Florida Attorney Richard Hornsby joins me Sunday for Websleuths Radio. Here is the link to Sunday's show

It's our first time on Blog Talk Radio. We did a test show last night and all went well so we are excited about this weeks show.

The number to call in is in (760) 825-0933. We'll have a chat room set up as well.

Websleuths Radio every Sunday 5PM PT/8PM ET.

A reminder about Websleuths Radio's premier on Blog Talk Radio.

The show will evolve and change and will never be boring.

Thank you for your wonderful suggestions.

SallyLu I love your suggestion about having a member on each week who is passionate about a case we are discussing. I'll do it after I get warmed up and comfortable on BTR.

Websleuths Radio will also help but the spotlight on our Unidentified forum and other forums that help victims and their families directly. Will try and raise awareness about these places on WS.

Ok off to collapse then back later.

Love,
Tricia

Bumping again because this forum moves like lightening.

If you have a question for Richard Hornsby please post it here.

We will try and have the blog talk radio chat room opened but we might not. Since this is my first show with Blog Talk it might be a bit much to try and handle all at once.

OK. post your questions.

Here is the link for the show on Sunday. 5 PM PST/8 PM EST

Question for RH: Whither Cheney Mason? What exact function is he fulfilling on this defense team?

Question for Tricia: Can you add Bill Sheaffer to the list of folks that WSers would like to hear on WebSleuths radio?

:blowkiss: to you both!

Beachy posted a suspicion that since Tricia switched from LA Live to BlogTalk, maybe LA radio has removed her from the archives. Sounds plausible but :waitasec:?

(ETA: wenwe, I think we all have a hearty girl crush on Tricia.)

I too searched for the archive on LA talk radio with no luck. I was hoping to download it so I could take it to work and listen.

*sigh* oh well. I look forward to tomorrow's show.

Does Mr Hornsby think it's strange Ann Finnell hasn't made a trial appearance?

How would Mr Hornsby approach the introduction of "new science" in a cross exam compared to Mr Baez?

Using Mr Baez' opening statement, how does Mr Hornsby believe the defense will present their witnesses/ side of the case?

Our members uploaded it and made YouTubes out of both shows. Look on page one at the YouTubes that have a pic of a kitty on a keyboard. :)
