This is scary, I wish these young girls wouldn't fall prey to these older men. My daughter is 10 and I tell her all the time about the truth of the internet and there truly is bad people out there. I'll be sharing this story with her.
 
I can't find anything new about this case, after having used three different search engines this morning. Not surprisingly, Websleuths threads did show up on those search engines.

Just in case the 30-40 y.o. man is reading this :

Don't ruin your life over this. Just take her somewhere and drop her off, such as a fire station, a hospital, or a church. At this point you can always claim she lied to you and you didn't realize her true age. A lot of this will be overlooked if you return her in the same shape you found her. However, if you harm her in any way, all hell is going to rain down on you.

It's not worth it...........just let her walk away.

Deputies have scoured phone conversations and surveillance video in an effort to find out her pattern in the days leading to her disappearance. They are attempting to find out who she sneaked out of her house as her parents slept to meet. The clues uncovered so far have taken deputies out of the Charleston area toward Parkersburg, Athens, Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio.

"Investigators are a little hesitant to release exactly why they believe she was headed that direction the night she went missing," said Humphreys. "There are some indicators that's one place we might be looking and we want to get her picture out there in those areas."

I'm very concerned for this girl. She looks very young, which may mean she's more desirable to predators/traffickers.
 
I'm heart broken to say that she was found deceased by a river bank. Her mom announced it in her FB group. </3

Rest in peace. I hope her family will have answers as to what happened. Hoping that LE treat her family better now then they have been :( Prayers to her family and loved ones

Thanks for the update, Roselvr. I am sick and shaken over this, but sadly, not surprised. When will this madness end? Is there a suspect? If so, is it James Franklin?

Dammit.
 
I pray that she gets justice..Poor baby. These young girls think they are grown,they just don't know what this ugly world is like. Prayers for her family:(
 
Certainly makes it clear why they were able to say homicide basically as soon as news got out that she was found.

Witnesses at the scene tell Eyewitness News they were clearing brush to repair some jet skis along the river in Portland, Ohio, when they found the body wrapped in a clear tarp with a strap around the waist and a cement block tied to it stuck in the mud.

I'm most curious who the POI / detained person is given it seems they didn't know who she was with all this time or they'd have probably stepped in earlier, yet as soon as she was found, they now have someone in custody.

Reminds me a little of the case of another teen recently, I think she lived with her grandparents (or maybe one of them - the grandpa, I think - had just posted here?) I believe she was found in a tarp in a stream and weighted down, and I think the person in custody was someone she thought was a friend (maybe older male teen?)

Anyone know which case I'm talking about? Relatively recent one...maybe the last 3-4 months?

I have to agree, Steleheart -- I went back to that original document about Walker & re-read it a couple of times before I posted the question above, and I couldn't see the connection, either. But who do they have in custody? That would be mighty quick work, seems to me, but it would not be impossible. I hope they've got him, but I'm doubtful...
