This one platinum blonde gal keeps gawking over here from the gallery and typing stuff down. Kinda creepin' me oot. #JodiArias

You might want to butter him up with chocolate before an introduction, kinda' like a peace offering. LMAO

Yep that was moi! OMG that's funny. I was totally doing that. I was trying to figure out who he was and checking out what everyone on THAT side of the courtroom was doing while scanning the jury box. Even better to meet him now that I creep him out. Like I said, I don't blend.

I will most certainly bring something sweet. This will be fun.

Well I don't know how the defense recovers after today, imo it was a huge day for the PT. That text msg will do ja in, it's so real and plain she wrote it. Dt can scream sex, sex, sex, *advertiser censored*, *advertiser censored*, yada yada all they want but IMO it's over, it's truly over.

Don't hire me for your covert ops unless I wear a wig and practice looking without looking like I'm looking.

Just hope he doesn't smack you with a salmon, lol. Yes, please let us know what he says, and I'm sure he will have fun with it, as will you.

Pretty much. If you look at the big picture - I discussed with 13th Juror Paul our perspectives having been jurors, and the fact that when they start deliberating and listing their mitigating factors, Travis's *advertiser censored* isn't going to amount to much. Anyone who is into *advertiser censored* would have more than 4 concrete pornographic images and more than a few minutes of a deleted video fragment from Flash player. It could not be established that TA ever visited those sites - manually typing a URL and he never searched for them either. It's a whole lot of nothing and JA just loves rubbing salt in the wound imo.

I just got through reading JVMitchell's book on JA. In it she says while Juan was visiting the jail to talk to a prisoner he saw JA hand a few magazines to a woman. He was curious why she would give anyone a magazine so he asked guard to hold up and had it checked. The guard could find nothing in it by casually glancing thru the magazines, so Juan took them and had his people look thru them and finally after a page by page examination they found the writing but it was jumbled and it took the investigators quite a while to find the coded number on the back of the Star Magazine giving the page number order in the Photo magazine where they were able to put the scribles together. This women was very slick. The woman she tried to hand the magazine to took off when the guard took the magazines. What I want to know is if any posters here ever heard that before about Juan being at the jail and seeing her pass the magazines? I don't remember hearing how this came to the Prosecutors attention. I just assumed a guard found it and gave it to the prosecutor but now after reading this I don't know. Does anyone know anything about how Juan got this information?

LOL...maybe you better have a 3d party introduce you....lest he sees you coming towards him, gets seriously creeped out and calls for one of the new chacha guards. :)

I believe everyone paying attention was left with the presumption that since Jodi lies to herself in her own journals, it's not impossible, in fact - could be likely, that she could change the name of a contact associated with the phone number and text herself as Travis.

Now, can it be proven through TA's phone records that the text was sent? I don't know, have not been able to follow the entire trial. But if the defense doesn't bring in solid evidence to counter what was left hanging in our minds, they don't have it - and the jury could conclude it doesn't exist. JMO

I talked to many trial watchers and the ladies visiting from Louisiana today and everyone caught it. The jurors pay close attention so I'm confident it did not go over their heads either.

That's really good to hear. Thanks. Have any sense of how the jury's doing? Burned out, still hanging in, looking perky?

Shannon Hogan's book has the exact same version of the story. She didn't provide source notes so no way to know who told her.

Thanks Ziggy.

That is great news to hear. This helps so much. The other courtroom tweeters seldom provide this important information to us. We understand its just your opinion and that is exactly what we need.

Its so great to get this opinion. It helps us tremendously. If we all were able to watch the trial this is exactly the kind of thing we would be looking for. Since we cannot see it we rely on others to give it to us and they seldom provide it to us. So THANK YOU.

Your our "boots on the ground". :)

Am I imagining too much if I am picturing a "platinum blonde gal" (as Watt would say...LOL) with army boots on, went storming into the courtroom this morning with the courtroom clerk escorting her right to a prime seat behind some of JA's family members, and saying "Excuse me but you are going to have to scoot over a little because Justice has arrived and we are here for Travis now!!!" :websleuther:

I read this on twitter the other day and when asked where that came out they said in JVM's book. Which is kind of awesome. And completely logical. Why WOULD Jodi be giving someone magazines unless it was to pass notes? If Juan hadn't been there that day he might never have gotten that delicious piece of evidence. Just makes you wonder how many she was able to get out before she was caught.

Good idea! Wasn't he the one who tweeted about the camera guy supplying candy? He seemed to appreciate them. :)

In the jury room I think everyone will concur to set the entire *advertiser censored* issue , from soup to nuts, aside. It is crystal clear that Jodi lied to them about the pedophilia. If anything, they will be angry and insulted by it.
It has been thoroughly proven that Jodi lied throughout her journals, so those can get put in same pile.
Juan will have destroyed any hint of credibility her doctors had ,so those PTSD results will be dismissed without haste.
The BPD does not equate to not knowing right from wrong, so it matters not in this decision, in my opinion. They are REQUIRED to accept that she planned it, she murdered him, and it was especially cruel. That is the jumping off point. If I'm the foreperson that is in big bold letters at the top of the white board. Guilty. Murder One.

They will be left with a simple question of should they show mercy. I've prayed many a night to understand "mercy". I believe that whatever was in their soul when they saw the crime scene photos will be what carries the day.
They will either think something MUST HAVE made her do this, no normal person, no well person could have, or
she is evil and should pay with her life.

Juan Martinez will clear up any confusion they are having about the details of how and why in his brilliant closing. I'm looking forward to that, ever so. His entire closing was spot on, but I especially enjoyed his rebuttal to Nurmi's closing. Nurmi had gotten so many facts of the case wrong.

The brothers and sisters of Travis want Jodi Arias to get the death penalty. I stand with them whatever they want. Absolutely I'm believing they touched the hearts and minds of the jurors with their victim impact statements. If the jurors live to be 100, they will never forget hearing their heart breaking stories of how their entire family has been ripped to shreds and their beloved Grandmother literally died of a broken heart, unable to deal with the brutality and horror of how Travis was murdered like a pig in a slaughter house. The pain they displayed will stay with these jurors. Forever. http://youtu.be/EGdKVAuT7Xk The letter Jodi Arias wrote to the family , standing on its own, is enough for me to put the mercy question out of my mind. My heart dictates that Jodi Arias deserves the death penalty. I am certain of it.

I just got our member Lisa's book AUDACITY: Jodi Arias: 18 Days on the Stand . It is wonderful! You may order it on Amazon. You'll be glad you did. She and Nick are talented writers with a very unique, thought provoking style.

Chris will be interviewed by Tricia this week. Be sure not to miss it. He and Sky will be releasing their book, they wrote on their own dime by the way , simply titled Our Friend Travis . They knew Travis better than anyone and much to their misfortune, they came to know Jodi Ann Arias. Don't miss Chris' interview. Until then, goodnight friends. 357793.png B82jRQSCYAEYpJ9.jpg 10600620_309745222552394_1674487803503058147_n.jpg sidebyside.jpg mummum.jpg
