One year since Baden-Clay verdict, kindness movement grows

TOMORROW marks one year since Gerard Baden-Clay was convicted of murdering his wife Allison and dumping her body at Kholo Creek. It comes as Allison's family and friends announce they will continue their Strive To Be Kind Day on Friday July 31 for the third year since she died.
Allison is believed to have been murdered at her Brookfield home in April 2012 while her children were sleeping nearby. Her body was found about 10 days later.
The Queensland Court of Appeal will hear her husband's appeal against his convictions on August 7.

I recently read an artical in Take 5 issue dated 2 July 2015 about one of GBC's so called expert witness Dr Michael Robertson being involved in a murder in the USA. The story has reference to his court appearance for GBC where he said Allison's zoloft could have killed her. Pretty desperate to dig up this seedy bloke as an expert witness.

Hi Champagne, I read somewhere who was going to manage the appeal, I'll go looking for it. But when I saw the name I wasn't displeased.

The Scout Motto is: BE PREPARED which means you are always in a state of readiness in mind and body to do your DUTY.

Be Prepared in Mind by having disciplined yourself to be obedient to every order, and also by having thought out beforehand any accident or situation that might occur, so that you know the right thing to do at the right moment, and are willing to do it.
Be Prepared in Body by making yourself strong and active and able to do the right thing at the right moment, and do it.[1]
"To do the right thing at the right moment" can be extreme:

"BE PREPARED to die for your country if need be, so that when the moment arrives you may charge home with confidence, not caring whether you are going to be killed or not"[3]

Good grief !

On the Channel 7 Brisbane news tonight they had a segment about the senior BC selling their house. Showing all the real estate photos from the online ad. I think it's a bit ridiculous now having this as a news item ! Who cares !

Hi WWGY. Which Real Estate Office will handle the selling of scull manor? Of course N & E BC need the money. They have been wiped out, but they never learn. I reckon they will move to Townsville near Olivia and her kids after the appeal. GBC has nothing to appeal with. I sat through a lot of the court procedings and I don't have any idea what will be new.

If GBC's appeal is thrown out, Alioops, does that mean he has to sit back and accept his sentence? And he can't then get parole until he accepts what he has done?
