Around 6 p.m., a flatbed truck loaded with several large items covered in tarps left the farm with a police escort.

For all we know one of the missing is the informant. Wouldn't that spin things in a different direction! I just think with 90 acres and they homed in on this spot pretty quickly I have to believe someone is talking. You just don't get lucky like this. Is anyone else thinking someone is spilling their guts?

Yes, I do think that. But I'm also so confused what an old buried oil tank would have to do with anything. I don't think it's odd that an old oil tank would be buried there. They are not easy to dispose of.

Well there are several theories that come to mind :

1. CD lured them out to his parent's property and murdered them , then had to get help disposing of them.

2. Someone else did this-- lured CD into helping them and are now framing him --as in saying if he talks, he'll be next.

3.CD and someone else killed them, and there was outside 'assistance' removing evidence.

4. The missing 4 are ok; or at least some of them are alive--- and are in hiding.

No. 4 seems the least likely.

Not saying that's what happened but is a possibility.
My guess is 1, 3, or 5.

I'm a Type 2 and not on insulin.

This young man is probably Type 1 and needs insulin to survive. It's a much more serious form of diabetes. Type 2 comes along later in adulthood and is generally more manageable.

I think it's a very regrettable moment & lapse in judgment all around...some of these families are remarried & may not have great relationships with their exes or ex in-laws! I'm sure there's a lot of guilt & a lot of unfair blame being passed around!
The original poster deleted his tweet as I'm sure it weighed against his conscience, we too should rise up & not pass it around anymore...it's in poor taste. imoo

If there is some type of access pipe going to the surface he could have dropped evidence or remains in it.

I got the feeling that he was trying to look tough, maybe trying to intimidate anybody who might talk, but I also think he looks like he was awakened from a nap. 🤷*♂️

Oh yeah, I also meant to mention that we are do for stormy weather here = thunder storms. I hope to God this won't hamper efforts too much, and I am sure they will secure the scene.

And tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be horrible with pop up storms and ridiculous heat. Agree, hoping it doesn't hamper any efforts!

My thoughts exactly, what if the tank was used to conceal ashes or body parts and maybe filled with acid to dissolve, conceal or destroy evidence.

Ive been lurking all day... its been hard to keep up, and I havent been able to post.

As many have mentioned the suspected oil tank... I can tell you that for sure is an oil tank indicitve of those found throughout our area. The question still remains what exactly are they looking for in that tank. Other posters have brought up the possibility of remains or other evidence being dropped into the vent pipe of the tank. These tanks at most would have a 1-1/2' - 2" vent and fill lines. This one that was retrieved looks to be in bad shape,

-I want to reiterate as some other posters have today, that this search area is very interesting because the lack of previously disturbed soil. It was good to see some other backhoe/equipment operators post today their thoughts align with mine.... from what we see on the aerials this soil wasnt disturbed in the last 4-7 days, at least not at the depth they appear to be digging.

I deeply suspect there is some other criminal action being investigated here that is separate from the disappearances and the alleged crimes committed by CD.

There's a lot of cogs in this wheel....

Growing up on a farm myself in that area, I know where we lived there were lots of old wells, like all over. Someone brought that up previously, and I was wondering if there's old wells along that property, where a body could easily be discarded.
