"Police have not given up on the investigation into the disappearance of William Tyrrell, as his family and foster family mark three years since he vanished.

The three-year-old boy, who would be six today, was last seen playing in his foster grandmother's garden at Kendall, on the NSW north coast, on September 12, 2014.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin, who leads the homicide investigation, said police were only interested in 'genuine information' from members of the public.

'We are not interested in sightings of a child running around in a Spiderman suit playing in the McDonald's car park ... or information from clairvoyants or people that have dreams,' he told reporters on Tuesday.

I continue to hope and pray for a desperately needed break in the case. Thank you for posting all of your updates everyone and for not giving up on William.

Interesting this story should be published now, Morrisa. They look like photos WSers posted months (years?) ago.

Also that Ash (Ashleigh?) Tyrrell is mentioned and pictured for the first time:

Karlie Tyrrell and her brother Ash when she was pregnant with William in 2013.

I wonder who's next?

Maybe bb. If you read the recent decisions from the Supreme Court of NSW and the Appeals Court, there are some paragraphs concerning MSM strategy from DCI Jubelin and the Court, and William's foster mother stating that the foster family has been relying on advice from police. Also on the subject of William's sister and proceedings in the NSW Children's Court:

Whether it's relevant or not I don't know, but considering the bio mum has applied for restoration of her daughter in response to the FP's application for sole custody of her, there is a custody issue big time going on or has been resolved behind the scenes. With the public's knowledge of who is who now, the fp's have really claimed WT as their own this anniversary, and the bios are not commenting. am disturbed by this whole scenario. MOO

Said tongue in cheek hon. W4W are an advocacy group on FB, not an online sleuthing forum. Apples and oranges.

If any information we find (or have found) helps to find William and the person or persons responsible for his disappearance, then the years of research and discussion (sometimes argument) will have been worth it.

It's possible police have already analysed William's threads for anything relevant to their investigation of his disappearance. They probably know the colour of our underwear by now :D

WILLIAM TYRRELL: BIOLOGICAL GRANDMOTHER SPEAKS ON THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF TODDLER’S KIDNAPPING
Clarissa Bye, The Daily Telegraph
an hour ago (as at 07:16AM AEST 12 September 2017)

'THE biological grandmother of missing three-year-old William Tyrrell has described today’s third anniversary of his vanishing as a “sad day she never wanted to see”.

While William’s biological mother Karlie Tyrrell told the Daily Telegraph she did not wish to comment about her son’s disappearance, grandmother Natalie Collins described it as an “terrible reminder” of Australia’s most famous missing person case.

“It’s heartbreaking,” Mrs Collins, 57, whose son Brendan Collins has been revealed as William’s father. “It’s affected everyone terribly.”

The family have kept out of the spotlight until now, leaving public comments to be made by police and the foster family, who were caring for William and his sister when he went missing on September 12, 2014 at Kendall on the north coast.

But a Supreme Court judgement last month allowed Brendan Collins and Karlie Tyrrell to be publicly identified as the biological parents.

Brendan Collins, who had been in and out of jail on petty crime and drugs charges, had has been “left shattered” by the loss of his son, say friends.

Mrs Collins said one of the charges her son faced related to shoplifting “children’s toys” and were a psychological “cry for help”.

William’s mother Karlie Tyrrell has moved on with her life in Sydney’s western suburbs and is concentrating on bringing up her two other young sons, William’s younger siblings.

Dressed casually in ripped jeans, sunnies and a singlet, the single mum popped down to the local shops last week to buy milk for the pre-schoolers, who bear an uncanny resemblance to their missing brother.

The boys looked well cared for with the younger child neatly attired in a buttoned up blue shirt and long pants.'

I could not help but notice the little fella standing on the other side of the fence, finger sticking through the gap.
Seems so normal for kids to be just playing/observing from the yard.
Of course there could have been an adult right beside him. Maybe not.
Just as there appears to be someone walking alongside KT.
imo

Speaking publicly about the case for the first time in 12 months, lead investigator Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin said police had targeted suspects until they could rule out their involvement in the toddler's disappearance.

"This is a dynamic investigation. A substantial amount of those persons of interest have now been reduced but because of the dynamic nature of this investigation that list of persons of interest is constantly being added to," he said.

He wants anyone who knows what happened to William to come forward.

He would not clarify whether William “Bill” Spedding was still a person of interest............
Spedding was initially questioned as part of the investigation as he had been in contact with William’s foster grandmother about fixing her washing machine around the time the youngster disappeared.
Det. Insp. Jubelin said the number of suspects remained “in the hundreds”, however he added the group was broken down into high-risk and low-risk persons.

“What we really want is to hear from those who know what happened in that yard on September 12, 2014.

“Our focus is not just on sex offenders, or paedophiles.

“We are interested in speaking to people who suspect someone they know may have information specifically related to his disappearance.

“We’re looking for people with concerns about people they know, their family whose reaction when William’s name is mentioned causes suspicion.”
