Leonard Gonzalez Jr.

Do we know yet what Tabatha had to say to the LE?

(Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I find this new forum very frustrating. I understand the need for separate threads, but where is a thread for general observations???)

Here's a questions and answers only thread:

Sordid tale of woe from T. Gonzalez’s ex

The ex-husband of Tabatha Gonzalez, wife of the Patrick Gonzalez, Jr, was convicted of trafficking cocaine in September 2004. Judge Linda Nobles sentenced him, B.A. Fausti, to two years of community control supervision and four years of probation.

I reviewed Fausti’s case file and found an interesting narrative from him on how his life spiraled out of control and led to his arrest in December 2002. The narrative was part of a motion to mitigate his sentence and terminate the remainder of his probation of supervision, dated August 21, 2006. The motion was denied by Judge Nobles.

Fausti, a Naval Academy graduate and U. S. Navy pilot, blames his fall from grace on a “series of devastating events” – which include fire, his wife leaving him and her abandoning their four children.

12/28/01 House (5699 Pine Oak Avenue, Milton) catches fire and is totaled.

1/7/02 Wife (Tabatha) leaves him and takes his four kids.

Bringing over a post from one of the early threads that discusses the dependency order, which was originally found by midwest mom. We still don't know for certain if it's for TG.

the children were placed in long term relative care. The Billings were not caring for foster children. The Billings adopted special needs children.

I agree.

From the link:

Quote:
Rather than basing its determinations upon this evidence, it appears that the trial court’s decision to place the children in long-term relative care was based upon unsworn assertions, hearsay, and the court’s personal knowledge concerning the mother’s new husband.
BBM. This refers to the judge's knowledge, right? Judge Goodman is extremely well-respected, awesome and a true advocate for children; I've known her professionally for several years. She does family court, including divorces. Wonder if she was the judge for Jr's divorce?

BTW - we still don't know if this case really is for Tabatha, or do we? IIRC, the doc. was originally found by sleuthing the attorney that was (IIRC) mistakenly identified as being in the picture when Wiggins was arrested.

ETA: Judge Goodman was NOT the judge for the divorce - they got divorced in Escambia.

Rick needs to get on the editorial ball.

I believe these were 2 separate incidents - from the link:

Later that Summer, Tabatha Fausti violates a court order protecting the children, according to Brandon Fausti. The children are placed in foster care. Tabatha leaves the country for several months fleeing prosecution and missing several court dates.

I guess this belongs here...

Thanks to faithful readers of the blog. More has been discovered about B. Fausti – ex-husband of T. Gonzalez, wife of the suspected killer of Byrd and Melanie Billings.

A follow up article was sent to me on the two men, a Navy sailor and Navy helicopter pilot, that faced court-martial over the beating death of hotel clerk in Ecuador. It identifies the pilot as Lt. B. Fausti – father of four.

I posted all of this about Fausti (if it hasn't been deleted) within the first three days. . .
Now, if we could just name names, I'd name DDP.

Hey! I'm in Steeler Country too!

Isn't amazing how often an article becomes truth. The same thing is happening in the MJ case.

An article or news report initially seems to be gossip and then suddenly it's a bombshell.

Regardless, if inaccurate articles are published, the liability goes to the newspaper.

Wow! It looks like there's some weight to many of our suspicions from the very start!

Aside from validating that Billings was associated with shady business, I find the following two snippets very interesting:

Authorities haven't publicly addressed the possibility of a Tice connection. But the individual familiar with the investigation says that "all business associates of Billings's are persons of interest." Some of these associates have fled the area, the individual says, including one who's believed to have left the country.

One of the acquaintances says that someone in the sheriff's office told him that local law enforcement wasn't moving against Tice because he was cooperating with a federal agency in one of its investigations (the sheriff's office declined to comment).
