Thanks so much. Hope you are feeling well now. Oh yeah I will sneak in a coupla glasses of wine as I don't take pain meds. Allergic to most so have found many other ways to deal. Wine being one of them :floorlaugh: A Tens machine is a machine a Chiropractor generally uses. Wires with little sticky pads that send little impulses to the muscles. Well big impulses if you crank it up all the way lol. You can increase or decrease by a little device that clips to your waistband. No bigger than a cell phone. So you can wear it anywhere. Really helps. I have only needed it once years ago. Hubby every coupla years so worth the investment.

That was great when I had my accident

So glad you got relief. I hope you are fully recovered. I like having one here at home since hubby seems to have a back issue late eve or on a Sunday when it does happen LOL. Great when one can get at it as soon as it happens.

She seems cautious to the point of appearing to lack confidence. I contrast this with the judge in the Zimmerman case who has no trouble asserting her authority, which is, IMO, a judge's role.

I saw the judge in the Seacat trial...trial took two weeks WITH his testimony. I have seen what an experienced criminal trial judge can do. A high profile case like this shouldn't have gone to a new criminal trial judge.

I just remind myself: "Keep Calm and Carry On".

I shall "wine" and carry on :floorlaugh:

Did everyone get a chance to read katiecoolady's report from Court yesterday? Pics also. If not I would invite you to do so. Breakfast pic with Family,Jurors and DD's Jurors.

Yeah, she was trying to be sexy but it aint workin'. :floorlaugh:

For sure. Can you imagine if they tried to run an ad like that today

I just have minor gripes today :banghead: I got up out of bed this a.m. and stopped mid way. Took my breath away. Full of spasms. Hubby left for work but hooked me up with our Tens machine. (His as his back goes out now and again). Rubbed me down with some deep heat. So I'm moving around like I have a wire brush up my arse. Have a bbq to go to tonight. Hopefully the wine helps. I need to make an appearance as Relatives are over from Europe and will be the last we see them. I have to work tomorrow as we are short and have some folk in Crisis . Told Hubby I have to go to work tomorrow even if he has to wheel me in on a back board. Thankfully I can sit. Minor gripes but I feel better now that I griped :blushing:

Get some Biofreeze or comparable. It will help with the spasms. If you can take Aleve, take 3. It is equal to prescription strength Anaprox. I live with this 24/7/365. Very frustrating. Understand your gripes! HTH

I think the DT could have got cold feet at the end when they realised at that moment that she was a wild card.

On the other hand, did the DT not depose her? Because they would know what her background was if they did research.

I think she was a tool for the DT and their campaign, nothing more ( like Darryl Brewer, waiting in the wings and never called), a means to use the 'threat' argument. I don't believe they ever were going to use her or Darryl. I believe it was all orchestrated and continues to be so.

Oh, and one more thing aside from the above: DT keeps carping about their need to find mitigation witnesses, and yet there is Mom, sitting right there every day.

BBM - I don't think the DT got cold feet. I do believe they set it up to play a certain way so they could file on appeal claiming prosecutorial misconduct again and that witnesses were harassed and threatened in case the jury came back with the DP. I also think that JSS saw through this little game they played and was adamant they proceed with or without witnesses. The DT temper tantrum simply didn't work out as they planned. Both Ms. Womack and Mr. Brewer were more casualties at the hands of the DT and the convicted murderer. The claim may be true they can't find witnesses to stand up for the murderer - the defense team is far more destructive to witnesses than JM if you think about it. I think Chris Hughes had it right when he labeled Nurmi a snake.

Oh no Bravo...back pain can be so painful! I hope the BBQ and work gigs don't make your back worse. Feel better!

I found it interesting that CMJA looked for the guy that was subsequently ejected from the courtroom. She then turned to her Mitigation Specialist and laughed like a school girl. This is a court of law. If the Mitigation Specialist wants to be taken seriously in subsequent trials, she needs to stop endulging that behavior.

If she is such a good MS, why is it she can't help find people to speak on CMJA's behalf? Just sayin.

Oh man I am so sorry you suffer with this. Thanks but allergic to any of the Nsaids as well. I'm use to taking nothing. I have a new found respect for those suffering from back issues. I'm glad you find some relief. I'm just not a very patient patient LOL. I had some minor knee surgery end of last summer. Sunk me into a depression having to sit with an ice pack all summer when I wasn't at work. Chronic pain is wearing. I didn't take any pain meds after surgery cuz it felt so good to just have short term intermittent pain. Me sitting around not good. When it's a forced sit

Awww thanks so much sweets. I feel guilty even complaining. So minor compared to those who truly suffer.

I remember getting Baby Soft as a christmas gift from someone and my mother losing her mind over it! I was never allowed to use Baby Soft...This was probably the reason! :seeya:

LOL My Parents must have missed the ad as I was allowed to use it. I remember one Xmas asking for some Joe Cocker albums. Yes i lived the vinyl era. My parents questioned the guy at the music store and concluded it was inappropriate :banghead:

She was hard to take serious. Especially with her choice of "dress" as well.
