Agree, very common. I have actually been at an auction where I am sure this occurred. I live in a small town and everyone knows everyone and their friends.
He wasn't on the case when Spedding's name hit the media. A friend of the family indicated early on who it was that gave Spedding's name and that person presumably also mentioned he had some historical allegations against him. That is what caused the intense media interest and if that person...
As do many people who believe their kids have been wrongly removed from them.
Can you blame her? Once this became high profile she probably saw an opportunity to use it to get her kids back.

It means I don't think they were there.
It could be a police tactic as suggested by SA. That makes a lot of sense given it was not made public for a year.
It could be a false memory, perhaps she saw them in another place or at another time. Perhaps at the time LE didn't take it very...
I thought he claimed he saw them two days before but in a nearby street, not Benaroon in MSM before the book came out. I know MSM can be unreliable.
I'm not convinced those cars were there. I grew up in an area very similar to Kendall and it is still the same, very unusual for anyone...
Correct, as well as someone connected to the family who spoke up about the historic charges. I don't believe it was ever stated who that was. There are a number of people it could have been and as far as I know none have any bearing on the case to do with WT. They had their own agenda.
Personally, I always found that a little too convenient. Someone within or close to his family tried very hard to get LE to look at him from the get go. I think it was planted by that person or persons.
More witness inconsistencies. I guess it happens all the time. Wasn't GW the football coach of one of the grandchildren? So presumably knew them quite well. The person whose phone unfortunately fell in a toilet one would presume was also a friend or acquaintance.
I have always questioned the cars and the timing the info was released. Possibly the FFM mis-remembered, possibly it took a year because it was overlooked information (doubtful) but it is also possible that it was a strategy to flush someone out because it was a year after the disappearance...
I think some of the other POI's stories were littered with discrepancies too. Does anyone ever remember anything the way it happened? Ask 3 people to recount an event they all saw occur and there will always be discrepancies. And MSM are notorious for confusing the situation and getting info...
