The remins of William in my opinion are in that local area. The bones in a barrel were found to be of a younger person.

The sheriff department believes the storm brought the 12 yr old hart girl to the surface of the ocean. Mark Twain the author has described how a cannon firedfrom the surface of a boat would cause bodies to surface in the river. There is no report on the use of divers to look for the missing two...

A sonar equipped boat from the Hopkins Marine Station could be used to find a body. The dept of fisheries is located there also and they would have boats equipped with sonar. very small fish can be detected with this equipment.

There is no announcement from the sheriff office when the under water search will be held. Or any searchfor that matter. I hope searches will continue until the entire hart family is found.

On this thread someone pointed out google earth calculates the drop from the bluff to the rocks to be in the 20s feet. This is even less than the last report, Someone skilled with computers could verify this. Today is record store day in the USA and Europe with great deals on rcords.

According to a recent post here today the drop was 75 feet not a 100 feet. I am surprised more of the family didnt survive.

The eaten by sea life prodded me to post. My entire home is filled with refrence books from floor to ceiling. The two remaining kids will be found by divers in my opinion. They will have moved farther south from the crash site.Even under water there are waves that would move them like they moved...

I talked with someone who just returned from the area. They said the sea was rough. There were mudslides blocking roads, and a bridge was out. Thus it could be a little time before LE is able to search.

I doubt that any of the children were taught how to swim. People can survive a 100 foot fall. If you do not know how to swim you dont have a chance.

As of tue 4/17/18 it is still unsafe for the divers to enter the water. The two remaining children are partally skeletionized by now and are not going to float in with the tide. They have sunk to the bottom of the ocean and will have to be recovered by divers.:loveyou:

A body could be hung up on sea weed. This is the reason divers are going to check out under water:back::back:

There were six kids. Three were found at the crash site. One was found washed up near the beach. There are two left to be found. It is reasonable to assume these two children were also in the car and are now in the ocean. :loveyou:

If you are facing the pacific ocean in California you are facing west. Directly behind you would be east. Objects in the ocean travel to your left or to the south, I would expect the remaining two children to be south of the crash site.:rollercoaster::rollercoaster:

It is approaching darkness here in California. I had hoped someone would have found another of the children. Tomorrow may bring better results. I am sure with the full LE staff back to work something will happen.:loveyou:

The LE station wherethis happened is very small. Their resources are very limited. They have to request people from other places to make a search. Because of this I am unsure they are able to make reports on weekend days.
