I just watched this interview and all I can say is "what a bunch of B.S!".
He said himself his buddy would not stop, he only slowed down. I use to live in FL and typically a stretch of road like that no homes, business, etc) would be posted at 55mph.
He says he saw a woman walk out of the woods, go to her car with a shovel and bag, open her trunk and stuggle to get something into her trunk. What would be a normal reaction time to (1) notice a woman walking out of the woods carrying her stuff, (2) get to the back of her car and (3) open her trunk and (4) struggle to get stuff into the trunk - all while they were traveling by at approx. 55 mph or so? His reaction time alone to tell his buddy to slow down plus the reaction time of his buddy TO slow down would have put them well past the car. Oh yeah, at the same time on a bridge past the car he notices a WELL dressed guy ON A CELL PHONE Pretending to fish(?) standing as a lookout? LOL! I think he popped the cold ones long before he left the job site (also typical of the construction worker/rebarb workers in FL).
His eye for detail is amazing. He even noticed red sunglasses under the straw hat carring a shovel and a bag (oh yeah, she looked like Casey?) in addition to the well dressed man acting like he was fishing talking on a cell phone but actually standing lookout? The part that gets me is he saw her struggling to get something in her trunk after she opened it. By any stretch of the imagination he would have been past the car by the time his buddy slowed down and the trunk lid would have been open yet he saw her struggling AND noticed the bra on the front of the car.
As the video showed this was a typical stretch of undeveloped area on a FL road with pine trees planted about 25ft back on either side of the road. There was an opening about where the car was supposedly parked where you can see back aways (maybe a 30-40 ft opening?) and the tree line picks up again. He might have seen the car but it would have taken time to see her walk out of the break in the tree line and get to her car and open the trunk and struggle. He would have had to have been looking backwards, but also noticed a man at the bridge up ahead and all of the detail he saw about the man at the same time?
Methinks this is his 15 minutes of fame! The logistics just do not add up - I think he has embellished on many of the details he saw IF all he said he saw was reality.
