Apparently SR stayed in the house with BR for at least a few weeks. With rumours swirling around at the time about his possible involvement, how scary would that have been? You don't want to believe it, you may be in denial because it's the only way to cope, but closing your eyes every night in that house must have been terrifying. Really interested to hear SR's testimony.

OMG, Ant was ranting a lot some time ago. Father, Karen, stepmother, coward, 12gage rip out in Footscray (whatever that means??), K owned B, and so on .... :(

Imagine him as a witness.
His thoughts about the case, would be 'interesting'.
Perhaps, we may learn a great deal, when his ideas are stated/tested: there may be valuable info learnt, through his 'haze'.

12 gauge (shot gun) he would have wanted to spell, IMO. Oh yes, it will become interesting.
For all who can't see it:
Criticism of his father is actually cowardice, nothing more.
Criticism of karen is far worse.

Ages ago, we followed the Police driving the Mercedes, and further footage of the car 'on route' to......
Following is interesting, in another case on Websleuths: perhaps, here in Karen's case, there will be a 'movie' and we already have the footage

Jan 26th - The Sun reports that actors driving vehicles similar to the Shermans on Jan 24th. They’re involved in filming an episode for the Fifth Estate.

.....“The story will take a new turn, perhaps this week, when Toronto Police hand over the scene to Greenspan’s hired private detective.....”
Sherman lookalikes ‘eerie’ as camera crews roll into neighbourhood

Anthony Rickard has been arrested just one day before he is due to give evidence against his father Borce Ristevski, who is charged with murder.

9NEWS understands Mr Rickard was apprehended at his Digger’s Rest home in Melbourne’s north-west in a midnight raid

You gotta hand it to the Vic Po.... no point using up valuable anxiety, when you can just rustle up some out-standing warrants and have Ant at hand to be escorted to court. 10 Points for Efficiency.

A very Rational move. Leaving Ant at home overnight is simply asking for trouble, and nothing concentrates the mind like a night in the cells, at least this way there is a reasonable chance that Ant is good to go.

Still.. many a horse has been led to water and still refuses to drink... soooooo……

If for 'outstanding warrants', this timing/?? planned may be significant.

Victoria Police confirmed a 34-year-old man was arrested at a Digger’s Rest address overnight “in relation to a number of outstanding warrants.”

He will be one of 29 witnesses to be cross-examined during a two-week committal hearing beginning on Monday to determine if Mr Ristevski will face a Supreme Court trial.

of course, by tomorrow, Ant will have been without his regular and substantial 'substances', and being under the beady eyes of the Sarge at Sunshine lockup overnight, a well documented place of uncomfy unpleasantness... …

I'm wondering now just what shape Ant is going to appear in tomorrow.... .. maybe not so good, really.

It is the general habit of Australian police forces, and most likely , all police forces, to always have handy a certain sort of warrant held ' in reserve', that is, not served up to the person of interest, but held for a particular time, or event, when producing the warrant has a lot of impact on the timetable of the police force involved.

A perfectly legitimate operation.

What Ant could have done to avoid this was, perhaps, pay his fines to the Sherriff, do his community hours, turn up for his re educational courses, write apology notes, show some sort of willingness to co-operate in various investigations by police, not waste police time, obey police instructions at crucial times...

you know. all the usual stuff that people know to do, instead of jibbing and digging heels in..
