Hello all. Long time no see! I was just so sickened I had to take a step back from the whole case for a bit. I started reading BSL's prison journal tonight though, and am struggling with it. I don't know if I can make it through the whole 37 pages unless I spruce it up with photoshop. But I figured someone here may have already done that, or started transcribing it? If so give a sista a link! TIA.

justwannahelp, tragically BSL was not the first, last, or only predator roaming the streets of Acadiana. Recidivism and escalation is why it is imperative that all available resources are utilized by LE to identify and incarcerate psychopathic sexual predators before they progress to the level of sadistic rituals, torture, and controlling the life or death over their innocent victims..

I know, but it's still just so hard to believe, ya know. Believe isn't the right word. I can't think of the right word, but I have the hardest time accepting that there are such evil people. I KNOW they are out there, but it's just so hard to truly accept it because it's so awful and unnatural and wrong and disgusting. :shakehead:

I do believe BSL and others like him are working hand in hand with the evil one. (I'm too afraid to type the name, but you know who I'm talking about.) He said he became the darkness, and he did. There was no light in him. What he said about those brave enough to cross paths with him or be a part of his life or whatever he wrote. That really freaks me out.

Then we've got this lovely Oregon girl, Whitney, missing. It's all just so shocking. I just don't understand why people do these awful things.

In his journals that KATC has, Erin Steuber posted on Facebook a paragraph where he talks about longing for death but not wanting to go to hell for committing suicide (from his personal religious beliefs, I assume).

That changed when faced with the death penalty.

I'm adding later. I do see the Holly Beach stuff. If you pause the video when they scan the pages, you can read everything. More disturbing details. He says he practiced karate kicks on Lisa while she begged for her life because she had children. How awful!! He then goes on to explain to her why her life doesn't matter. He later tells KK that he put her in the trunk and buried her in a field behind a house of someone he wanted to try and pin the crime on.

It really blows my mind that they didn't indict him in 2008 with a confession.Socially they could have put 2 and 2 together his relationship with the guy living in the house being a person he wanted to frame. More importantly, he told his fellow inmmate the car that he picked Lisa up in and that he put her body in the trunk. In addition to that, he said that he had Lisa in his father's house out in the country in an isolated area and something about an intersection. He said he beat and raped her in this house. So why didn't they search for evidence in that house???

I think the most damning evidence against BSL in Pate's murder was the statement he made to inmates about placing a plastic bag around her head. "Remnants of plastic" were found on LP's skull, a detail only the killer or an accomplice would know.

Unfortunately, IMO, the grand jury was stymied by the lack of physical evidence.

I've always felt that his father's house was burned to get rid of evidence just like the truck. This makes me believe it even more.

justwannahelp, forensics files was on the tv when I woke up. There was a documentary of 1980s serial killer/sexual predator Robert Parker airing. In my morning haze, I heard them mention that rapist/sk Parker would spread cayenne pepper throughout his victim's apartment after raping & murdering them to render the k9s ineffective.

Due to BSL using cayenne pepper on Mickey's grave, I researched Parker. Ironically the book; 'Definitive Signature of a Rapist and Murderer', by Robert D. Keppel, William J. Birnes - 2008 - Law, describes the escalation of BS Lavergne and much better than I ever could...

I know a bail bondsman very well. She has a computer program that when she put my name in, it gave every address and phone number i had starting with my original childhood home. Now. either Brandon is smart, or he has very smart friends. These escort services have very sophisticated computer systems. Usually the people in charge
of these operations are upscale super geeks. You might see 50 ads for escorts, with all these different addresses, but they are all routed through a computer from one central location. This is how BSL could get those victims. Either breaking in, or knowing someone.
Another way to get womens addresses is to burglarize a store that caters to women, steal the charge receipts and all kinds of sign up sheets for special offers where people
leave their e mail, etc. He may have broken in to these places just for this purpose.
