Brandon Scott Lavergne - New Evidence Revealed

I know a bail bondsman very well. She has a computer program that when she put my name in, it gave every address and phone number i had starting with my original childhood home. Now. either Brandon is smart, or he has very smart friends. These escort services have very sophisticated computer systems. Usually the people in charge
of these operations are upscale super geeks. You might see 50 ads for escorts, with all these different addresses, but they are all routed through a computer from one central location. This is how BSL could get those victims. Either breaking in, or knowing someone.
Another way to get womens addresses is to burglarize a store that caters to women, steal the charge receipts and all kinds of sign up sheets for special offers where people
leave their e mail, etc. He may have broken in to these places just for this purpose.

Ixchel, good food for thought.. With over 9,000 phone numbers saved on his cell phone. I have to wonder how many are escort services and how many were females being groomed by BS Lavergne. I also wonder what the thoughts are of those women.

Are they suffering from survivor's guilt? Did BSL use similar ruses to lure them in. How many of them from other states and across the US are even aware that this is the same BSL, that they have been communicating with?

BSL's Facebook had been sanitized by a slight misspelling of his last name, his past criminal history aged off, and his LinkedIn profile impressive to many prospective and unsuspecting innocent victims.

Foxfire
Thank you again for your unrelenting intent (IMO) to get the public knowledgable regarding predators.
You stand out to me as an exceptional person.
You never give in. You never give up.
You continually try to assist and inform.
Thank you

kkdj, YW& thanx for the kind words, but KATC TV's Erin Steuber is in need of our prayers for entering the darkness of BS Lavergne's evil/deviant/demonic mind in search of the truth.

Although BSL is incarcerated hours away at Angola serving LWOP, his ability to reach out and claim unsuspecting victims extends far beyond the confines of the prison walls..

5. Victim Objectification
As a serial killer steps away from his base, whatever it may be, to begin the hunt for human prey, it is almost always true that he knows absolutely nothing about the person who is fated to become his victim. This is true even in the case of such serial killers as William Cody in Colorado, who cultivated his victims over lengthy periods (acquiring their possessions as well as their trust) before finally and viciously ending their lives. But for him as well, each future victim began as a stranger about whom he knew nothing. In this way does a serial killer differ from a man who, in a burst of anger, kills his adulterous wife, as well as the cold-blooded planner who kills for revenge?

It may be that having no prior knowledge of a future victim further enables the process of that victim's objectification. For as far as he is concerned, his next victim is not even a human being, in the accepted sense. So, well before he ever crosses paths with his next victim, he has already stripped that person of all human meaning and worth; he has unilaterally decreed from afar that the person is deserving of no human consideration whatsoever. Thus, then, in a serial killer's perception of his victims; past and future: that each is nothing more than an object, depersonalized in advance, existing only for himself and his enjoyment, and solely to be seized and used as he sees fit. Moreover, he perceives his unseen prey not just as an object to be used, but as an object unworthy of any consideration, worthy only of extreme contempt, vicious abuse, and ultimate destruction.

So, I just pulled up his journals... and the first words I read are RUFF DRAFT'S. Was this sicko planning on getting published or something? If so, Foxfire, what is your opinion on how this fits into his "master plan"? To have started a "memoir" before he was even a convicted murderer?? Hmmm.

Good eye, SLBG.. Seems obvious to me that BSL was a reader, and possibly an emulator, an emulator of McDuff. But I must say, it never dawned on me that he may be writing a book; 'bad boy from church point'..

Gary Hilton said, "I am an artist & my life is my art"..

SLBG, a common denominator among many serial killers is that before they meet their maker they want their stories told; notoriety. Although intelligent, most were under achievers and serial killing is their only real accomplishment in their lives, and in their deviant minds.

Sure seems plausible, SLBG...

I would definitely say an emulator! His writing style suggests he's trying to be this great philosopher. (IMO)

I wonder if he's writing again in prison? I bet there is a lot more he can allow himself to write about now.

I can't pull up the journals on KLFY. I hope someone can post them here. Just the 3 pages I have read made me feel like he was writing to someone- one was obviously his (ex)wife. I believe he was writing expecting for them to be read by many at some point. Maybe not as a book, per se, but like we are reading now, in the aftermath of his violence catching up with him. I don't have any facts or links to back this up, it is just my opinion. I think he knew that he would end up in prison for life eventually- even back then when he was serving his first sentence. The journals are full of excuses about his abuse as a child.
He is definitely way smarter than I ever gave him credit for. He was aware of "others like him" according to his psych evaluation. I am not sure what I think of that statement- I too am aware of "others like him". I have been reading about serial killers and true crime since I was 12-13 years old... But I am aware in a way that searches for truth and for justice, not in a way to learn and long to join the monsters as I feel Brandon was studying them.
:jail:

ETA: I finally got the journals to open for me on my iPhone. Going read now. I fin it weird that each entry has a title. I journal and never title my entries. I may be wrong but this strengthens my thoughts that he expected this journal to be read one day.

Somehow I am thinking 1999 may have been the year his (adoptive) parents divorced -- does anyone remember for sure and/or have a link?

In an article written by Claire Taylor, she stated that his parents divorced in 1997. I believe she also stated it on here under her name ClaireT.:

Yes, it's possible/probable.
The parents filed for divorce in April 1997. In 1998 the dad bought more than an acre on Prudence Highway with a trailer according to my research at Acadia Parish..."

18 pages of love notes to his (ex)wife.., then entry 19: 'The B**ch*'. How chilling and scary. I'll say it again.. I am so glad that she lived through her marriage to him and I don't know what prevented him from finding her in 2008 once he was released but I strongly feel that she is lucky to be alive.

Mods: can we post the journal entires here? I have saved them and can upload them if its okay? (since so many people are having issues opening the files?)

On the first page of this thread are links to the Daily Advertiser that have 30+ pages of investigative reports by LE. Then KLFY has the 30+ journal entries scanned into a PDF file on their website.
