Well someone has to know something. Or saw or heard something that may now, in hindsight, help to solve this.
And IMO Barbara will be found.
If anyone reading here has any info at all, please do the right thing.

It shows 94 viewers are currently watching the livestream of the news program.

I'm guessing at least 90 of them are WSers.

Heads-up: Unless you want to contract Hepatititis A, you should really stay out of the Tippecanoe County Jail.

Now they're covering buggy crashes.
Apparently, you really gotta' be careful when you get behind the wheel of horse-drawn buggies,
the fact that they don't actually have steering wheels notwithstanding.

Next up: a piece on Hemp Farming.
"There's nothing in these fields to get high on," the farmer explained to the reporter.
Guessing a lot of people lost interest in the story after he said that.

Buggy crashes, Hepatitis A, hemp farming...they got it all going on there in Lafayette, IN.

Time to check in with weather.
Balant Szalavari is their weatherman, excuse me, meteorologist.
(Who the heck names their kid, "Balant?")

Well, nothing on BT.
Disappointing.

I'll bet those dumb-butt mass shootings pre-empted her story.
That really ticks me off.
C'mon, MSM. Get right.
Those evil creep mass murderers don't deserve any attention.

BT does deserve attention.

JMO.

There is always the chance that someone who has googled BT's info after hearing about it or seeing one of the interviews has come across these threads here on WS. Such as this interview.
Woman Wearing Bikini Vanishes Without Supplies in California Desert
They might know something, so I will continue to ask that if they remember anything at all, please make a call.
Say, if anyone overheard something in a restaurant, a casino, a lounge, whatever it may be. Someone must have a yet-undiscovered clue.

Ok BBL and probably just trying that same station tomorrow evening.
Keeping the focus on Barbara.
Sorry if it is a rabbit hole, we will wait and see. It's over for the night, no interview. Interesting about the horse and buggy, the new deputy and the hemp. ;)

last ETA for the night. Hope they realized how many viewers they had. LOL for B's obvious beautiful sense of humor, love of life, and hoping she can know we care

Jurisdiction for Presumed Death Suit?
^ snipped for focus

IIUC, jurisdiction for procedure to declare a person dead is in the state of last domicile (for this sake of simplicity in this discussion = residence) of the presumptive deceased.*

If/since RT & BT live in Bullhead City, AZ, jurisdiction* would be in St. of AZ, and venue** would be Mohave County AZ probate court.

I'm ready to be corrected on this***, but if correct, then like St of CA, St of AZ's required absence is five years. A loooooong way off.
Jmo.
Where are our atty's & legal professionals? Thoughts on this? Thx in adv.

AZ statutes:
*. 12-509. Presumption of death from five year absence; restoration of estate recovered upon presumption
A. A person absenting himself from the place of his last domicile for five years successively shall be presumed dead in any action wherein his death comes in question, unless proof is made that he was alive within that time.

** 14-3201. Venue for first and subsequent estate proceedings; location of property
A. Venue for the first informal or formal testacy or appointment proceedings after a decedent's death is:
1. In the county where the decedent had his domicile at the time of his death.

*** IANAL and I don't play one on TV.

I used California only as a reference (I already had the link) but the relevant point is: it's the same time frame for Arizona as it is for California... 5 years.

Once again I have come out of "lurkdome" I am just loving your posts this afternoon/evening! Informative with a sarcastic sense of humor is exactly what I think a lot of us needed. MOO

Back to Barbara... please let this investigation move forward in finding her. I remember early on in the thread that posters familiar with the SBCSD mentioned that they are very tight lipped in giving any public information or requests out. I'm glad to hear that they are communicating with the VI.

Thanks all for keeping this thread alive with the very little information being released. :)

I wish I could be like some on WS and always thinking positively of everyone. Giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.

But as for me and my hinky meter, we’ve just been through too much together.

Always wishing for the best but fearing the worst. My hinky meter has a pretty good track record, unfortunately.

Thank you, PommyMommy for these media links. It’s great to be able to DO something—no matter how small—to keep Barbara’s case in the news!
