Waker said Barry did not call police during this time, and told authorities Suzanne was new to mountain biking.

Barry told deputies on May 11 that a mountain lion attack was possible. He said his worst scare would be "someone picking her up" or foul play at the RV park.

@stephaniebutzerWalker says he spoke with Barry the following day (May 11) at 1:06 p.m. Barry said the last time he saw #SuzanneMorphew was May 10 at 5 a.m. He said they had had a great day and evening. He said she was "his angel" since they were 17 and they "love each other to death."

as to BBM^^^----sometimes statement analysis does work

Small courtroom. Only 8 seats for the public. Met people from 20/20 and Dateline while waiting to be let in.

Police find the bike, dark blue with black handlebars and baby blue pedals. They walk it back to squad cars. The front break was in a locked position.

Watching the body cam footage of Barry Morphew on the night Suzanne disappeared. Police says to Barry it is very unlikely it was an animal because someone would have seen the body/blood by now.

Helmet was found May 14 about .84 miles from bike and 1.5 miles from the residence. No damage on helmet to the membrane or the strap. Inside the padding of helmet was a piece of paper with Suzanne’s name and emergency contact info.

Barry says his worst scare is “someone picking her up”. Almost immediately after he said he thought it could be a mountain lion. Not long after that he said there may have been foul play at a nearby RV park.

Commander Walker said Morphew had work to do in the Denver area and left for Broomfield on May 10 at 5am. Walker says Barry described their relationship as "very good." Says Barry texted Suzanne around 7:30a-8a wishing her a happy mother's day with no response.

Barry tried texting and calling Suzanne, but did not call police. Barry mentioned to deputies that he was worried about a mountain lion attack when he got home. Barry told deputies Suzanne was new to mountain biking but had been riding a lot lately.

Walker said that Barry Morphew mentioned, "His worst scare was someone picking her up." During a 30 minute conversation with him.

Another appropriate piece of "statement analysis". Controlling husband, sudden trip to FL to crash Suzanne's girlfriend party. I feel sure he was often 'scared' of someone picking his beautiful wife up, or trying to. And not on a deserted road.
