Updated to include clarification about dirt at property laid by BM

Was he physically working his jobs and just hired some side laborers to help him out?
I can't imagine that and owning a home of it's value.
Where did the money come from?
And why did they move from a successful business in Indiana?
I'm perplexed.

I suspect he was hiring day laborers. Like, what you go to Home Depot for? Or just drive thru neighborhoods? idk. Maybe that was why he was in Denver? Drawing at straws here. We have lots of day laborers wait in certain places for hire in the downtown areas.
How the heck did they afford that home?

<modsnip: Sleuthing BM and/or his business is not allowed> It had also been discussed that the M family has several properties and this is why legal paperwork was filed so that a property sale could be completed. There has also been discussion of a family inheritance. All in all, it would appear that they had a 'comfortable' lifestyle funded by a mix of business success and a property portfolio.

I'm in the contracting business.
If he's doing his own labor with some daily hires I can't imagine he could own that home of that value.
Something else is going on here imo.

There's no evidence anything like that is going on!

And be reminded there's no sleuthing of BM's business.

Personally, I don't think BM engaged in residential contracting but likely helped with the dirt work on the Salida build site when his contractor friends were being held up. We also have no reason to believe that BM did not meet the property owner three weeks earlier as the owner told news reporter Salinger. On what basis would we discount that?

LE previously reported the property owner was not involved and/or being investigated regarding SM's disappearance and that the owner fully cooperated with LE and the search of their property.

For what's obviously a very personal reason, Dave does not believe the property owner, said he doesn't like him, and doesn't believe the reporter either! That has nothing to do with the facts of the case.

I hope the owner of this rentals company saved his files:

There is also a link with a camera facing the other direction you can find it on this page (below the one I mentioned above):

Buena Vista Salida Chaffee | ColoradoWebCam.Net

I could not find an establishment with a camera facing the South Arkansas river. There are only cameras for the Arkansas river.
Have you seen the timelapse feature? Just scroll down, you can go back many days.

Time lapse is amazing. You can see truck beds! Currently goes back as far as May 15 but you can be sure LE has what they need. Business footage contributed to PF's LWOP plus a couple lifetimes.

IMO Chaffee County LE knows exactly who drove on Hwy 50 through Salina in and around May 10. And at what times.

Cameras make great witnesses.

BBM
Why?
He obviously contracted to him.
I would like to see that contract. The one in writing. Not the verbal handshake one.
I don't believe that he, the contractor; has ever met him, the homeowner. It's just impossible. IMO

Yes I said that too...it could have been dumped there so it would be farther away from search area. Plenty of time to drive there and back Friday or Saturday in the dark of night.
That’s what I’m thinking. One state away and there was time to do it. Maybe not probable, but possible so worth keeping an eye on it. Especially with the “gun safe box” involved.
