Deceased/Not Found Danka Ilić, 1 year old, Bor, Serbia, 26 March 2024 *arrest*

What really shocks me are the sudden deaths:

- brother of the main suspect
(heart attack in custody)

- mother of the main suspect
(sudden death of Svetlana)

How strange!
I did not even consider these events in my cover-up thought.
I don't think we will ever know what happened, and this will become a bodiless cold case.

From 17th May report

" 'THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO TALK TO THEM'

A relative of the D. family announced after the funeral of the suspect's mother.

Svetlana D. from Zlot,
mother of Dejan and Dalibor who are suspected of murdering little Danka Ilić, was buried today.
Svetlana died on Wednesday, and today she was buried next to her son Dalibor, who died on May 7.

The funeral was also attended by the accused's son Dejan and her husband Radoslav.

Dejan and Radoslav were guarded by the police all the time,
and here is what the relative had to say about the whole situation:

'It's bad, you know how he is in prison, it can't be good.
It's a disaster when something like that happens.
We never had any problems in our village',
said the relative.

When asked how long Dejan and his father stayed and whether they came into contact with them,
he added:

'Not long,
I don't know if it was 5 minutes.
While they lit the candles and made a dedication, you know how customs dictate.
We had no contact,
neither I nor any of my relatives.

They don't let anyone talk, that's what they told us before.
A disaster...'
he concluded."

"The police brought Dejan and his father to the cemetery:

They lit candles and made a sign of cross,

Police immediately took them away.

Dejan and Radoslav were guarded by the police all the time.

Neither of them was allowed to enter the local church where the Funeral Mass was held."

Could it be possible that she wasn't hit and wasn't taken in that car, but the defendants did something worse and made up the hitting with car story to hide a bigger secret?
Just an idea that popped into my head
JMO
ETA: or they did hit her, but it was not that car.

Have other vehicles been processed?

Maybe she wasn't hit by the car, so there was no blood, but she was abducted, and they just cleaned the inside of the car in the area where she was held very well. They could have murdered her outside the car. So there wasn't going to be much DNA in the car to find anyway? They obviously don't care about truth, since they won't reveal where they put her. My opinions only.

"International Day of Missing Children dedicated to Danka Ilić:

'We hope that the children will be found!'

Today (25 May)
is the International Day of Missing Children,

and the Center for Missing and Abused Children (CNZD)
dedicates this day to the
missing two-year-old girl Danka Ilić
from Bansko polje near Bor.

It is very important to find all missing children,
to not stop talking about them
and to raise public awareness of how important this problem is,
and also to work on prevention."

"Srđan J,
the suspect in the murder of the girl Danka Ilić

said through his defense attorney
that he no longer wants to defend himself by remaining silent,
but that he will speak about the crime.

'The defense attorney of the suspect Srđan J. announced that

the suspect will present his defense in the coming days'

the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar told 'Blic'."

"Srđan J.,
the suspect in the murder of the girl Danka Ilić,
said through his defense attorney
that he will speak about the crime,

and his hearing
at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar
is scheduled for
June 4."

Novi detalji istrage ubojstva malene Danke: "To je ključno za ovaj slučaj, ali postoji jedan problem..."

The investigation into the murder of a two-year-old girl, Danka Ilić from Serbia, is still not over, and an expert examination of the hair found at the scene of the crime is currently being conducted.

(Snip)

During the investigation, more than 500 traces were removed from the vehicles in which the suspects and the murdered girl were located.

No biological traces of little Danka were found on any of them. Expert examination of some DNA traces remains, and as the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar tells Nova.rs , the mentioned analyzes are still not finished.

"The Faculty of Biology is dealing with this case. No new clues have been found, and we have to wait for the results of the existing ones. As we were told by that institution, the analysis will take a long time and it is not known exactly when it will be finished. They are currently analyzing the hair, but there is a problem which is it has no root, which is of key importance for this case, i.e. for DNA confirmation," senior public prosecutor Miodrag Canović told Nova.rs.

The prosecutor's office confirmed earlier that the allegations that one of the suspects, Janković, is ready to talk about the crime , and that he announced this through his lawyer, are correct.

"It is true that Srđan Janković has decided to present his defense . He informed us about this through his lawyer. The hearing will most likely be held next Sunday," said the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office.

"SHOCKING TESTIMONY OF THE SUSPECT FOR THE MURDER OF DANKA ILIC

After two months,

he decided to speak:

His testimony surprised EVERYONE.

1717506951899.png

Srđan J. kept silent about the murder of the girl for two months,
and then his defense attorney informed the prosecution that the suspect would tell everything.

However,
although everything indicated that he would reveal what happened to Danka Ilić,
as well as where her body was, considering that
Dejan D. had previously confessed to the crime and described it in detail, without specifying where the girl's body was,

he shocked everyone -
he denied committing the crime
and stated that he had never seen the girl!

This was also confirmed to us by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar,
from which we received the following answer:

'Today, June 4, 2024,
in the premises of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar,
Srđan J. completely denied committing the crime.'

After his testimony,
Danka Ilić's mother spoke up and said that she was taken aback.

According to the officials,

SJ was driving the official car with which he hit the girl,
however,
he did not even know that he had done it until Dejan D, who was in the passenger seat, told him.

After that,
they allegedly put the girl in the car thinking that she was dead,
and when Danka woke up, Dejan Dr. strangled her.

According to the information so far,
her body was thrown into a landfill.

Until now,
the body of the girl Danka Ilić has not been found."

"IT DOES NOT BOTHER MY CONSCIENCE"

Srđan J.,

suspect in the murder of Danka Ilić (2),

shocked everyone with his statement:

He answered more than 100 questions,

but the case is still a mystery.

'I did not see the girl that day at all,
in fact I have never seen her in my life' -
SJ. allegedly said.

He admitted that he had been drinking.

According to unofficial information,
he answered about a hundred questions at the prosecutor's office,
and was interrogated for about three and a half hours,
from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

SJ allegedly spoke calmly in front of the prosecution and answered all the questions.

The source reveals that SJ confirmed that on the day of Danka's disappearance he was in Banjsko Polje,
the place from where the girl was lost.

He explained what he was doing there and admitted that he drank alcohol.

He also admitted that he was behind the wheel of a 'Fiat Panda' which is an official vehicle,
and that the car was traveling on the very road,
which is listed as the place where Danka was hit by the car,
but that absolutely no one was hit by the car he was driving.

Suspect Srđan J.,
who was brought to the prosecutor's office from custody,
handcuffed and accompanied by guards,
was interrogated in the presence of his chosen defense attorney Živadin B.

He also said that his conscience does not bother him because he did nothing wrong,
that there was no impact on the car and that he would have been devastated if the child had been hit by it -
the source tells us.

SJ. calmly answered all the questions,
and what confuses everyone is the diametrically opposite story of him and his fellow
suspect Dejan D.,
who confessed to the entire crime and said that he strangled the child with his bare hands because, according to him,
SJ. knocked the girl by a car.

The mystery remains

'It is strange that
Dejan D. described the whole incident in detail in the prosecution and admitted that he was the one who put the child in the car and strangled her with his bare hands,
while SJ,
who until now defended himself by remaining silent,
now denies everything and says that he never even saw her'.

'One of the two is not telling the truth,
since the two of them were together at the critical time,
in the same car,
and their stories do not match' -
explains the source."

OK folks...

IMO
this case hinges on EVIDENCE.

Let's not forget that there are some fantasists in this world who "confess" to crimes they never commited.
This is some kind of psychiatric disorder.

And there are also those who never acknowledge their guilt.
They are in complete denial.
They even suffer from amnesia.

We must also remember that 2 people died suddenly because of stress generated by this tragedy:
- suspect's brother (heart attack in custody),
- suspect's mother who to her last breath claimed her son Dejan was innocent.

Also,
Dejan's father,
(who allegedly helped to conceal the victim)
is now free.
It means there is no sufficient proof to charge him.

Let FORENSIC EVIDENCE lead the investigators.

Don't follow theories,
but facts and evidence.
They will tell their story.

"The Prosecution has 3 months

to file an indictment,

otherwise Dejan and Srđan will

GO FREE.

1717875416824.png

Police combed every inch of thr area.

Expert examinations were conducted on items taken from the car that hit the girl, as well as items from the family home of Dejan D. from Zlot,
the suspect in the murder of Danka Ilić,
but so far no expert examination has indicated the girl's DNA.

While the expert reports are pending,
the Prosecutor's Office is interviewing the witnesses,
and there are still 3 and a half months left
until the decision on the indictment is made -
otherwise the suspects of the crime will be released.

The search for her has not stopped since day one,
and police and the prosecutor's office are constantly trying to find evidence and confirm their suspicions

that the girl was killed by two men,
Srđan J. and Dejan D.

Police
have a deadline of 6 months from the arrest,
in this case a little more than the next 3 months.

This means that within the legal term,
as long as it is stipulated that the suspects can be in custody for the longest time, without an indictment being filed,
evidence must be collected that will indicate the guilt of the suspects.

For now,
these are the key pieces of evidence for the girl's death:

The last picture of Danka Ilić

Mother sent the last picture of the children to her husband, Miloš Ilić, at 1:22 p.m.

When she was unable to find Danka,
she called her husband at exactly 1:41 p.m.,
and Police at 1:45 p.m.

Between 1:45 p.m. and 1:52 p.m.,
Danka left the yard and 'walked on the asphalt'
and that this was confirmed by two eyewitnesses.

The two suspects were on a work assignment in Banjsko polje that Tuesday,
where they were supposed to check the shaft in Ozrenska street.
They arrived at 1:20 p.m.

Their car was recorded on March 26,
the day Danka Ilić disappeared,
at 1:35 p.m. and 35 seconds in Radomira Putnika Street.

The time when 'Fiat Panda' was recorded
coincides with the information that at around 1:50 p.m. Danka's mother,
looking for her daughter,
saw a white car and a man standing next to it.

During the investigation,
it turned out that it was Fiat Pand which the suspects used.

Around 2:00 p.m.,
the suspects were moving in Fiat Panda along Starobanjski Pute and soon
reached a wild dump,
where they dumped Danka Ilić's body

on the right side of the road.

They stayed at the landfill for one minute and 40 seconds, after which they returned to their place of work.

The witness described in detail what he saw on the fateful day near the landfill:

'It was on the 26th of March at around 14:45.
....
I saw a car,
I can't remember what brand it was,
next to which Srđan J. was standing,
while Dejan D. had already gone part way down the cliff
full of garbage and waste.

I greeted him, however,
Srđan J. seemed confused and as if he did not want to answer.

I didn't know what happened then.
It was an unusual reaction to me,
but at the time I didn't think about why it was like that.

I found out later that the girl had disappeared.
I immediately contacted Police and told them everything I saw'."

I only sent FRAGMENTS of the article.
Using Google Translator

I stick to this Serbian MSM "Blic",
as it reports on this tragedy almost EVERY day.

I just can't see why he would confess so many details and then take it all back, if he was not guilty. I mean, why confess?
I do understand why false confessions sometimes occur, but these men were not vulnerable people who would feel pressured to give a false confession, and they didn't spend time at the landfill admiring the view.
MOO.

The other (Dejan) confessed.

SJ was silent the whole time.
Until he said NG.

Sorry. Deleted my previous post. I guess we need to wait and see what happens to these two POIs and with the one partial-confession and one denial.

"The suspect for the murder of Danka Ilić,
the employee of PUK Vodovod
Srđan J.,
will be questioned again next week
at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar.

He was already questioned in connection with this terrible crime,
but then he denied that he saw little Danka Ilić at all on the day of her disappearance,
and that he hit her with his official car.

As it turns out,
the prosecutor who is leading the investigation into the girl's disappearance,
has decided to interrogate SJ again
because she still has some questions after his first hearing."
